MLB PrizePicks Player Predictions: Sunday (7/16)

Saturday proved to largely be another rough state of affairs on the PrizePicks betting front. Tyler Glasnow finished with seven strikeouts against Detroit (needed at least eight), and, as (somewhat) predicted, I fell right into the Masataka Yoshida trap as he struck out against the Cubs. But hey, at least Billy McKinney’s under fell into place. We continue to hover around the .500 mark going into Sunday, hopeful that the ever-elusive 3-pick-win day can hit for us again.

Sunday’s Best MLB PrizePicks Player Predictions

Overall record: 20-21-2

Gerrit Cole Over 6.5 Pitcher Strikeouts

Despite just five strikeouts per game in each of his last two outings, Gerrit Cole’s line of 6.5 on Sunday against Colorado is simply too low. Sure, the game is at Coors, but that has little to no effect on a batter’s ability to make contact with a pitch that is coming in from one of baseball’s best.
