MLB Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Angels vs. Tigers

  • Leg 1: Under 7 (-115)
  • Leg 2: Shohei Ohtani Over 8.5 strikeouts (+106)
  • Leg 3: Shohei Ohtani to record a hit (-190)

Since Ohtani went on that scoreless streak, he continues to dominate on the mound as he’s 7-3 with a 1.81 ERA in his last 11 starts. He looks favorable to have another good start against a disappointing Tigers lineup, and while his strikeout prop is high, Detroit has the worse strikeout rate (30.8%) this month.

It’s not the year Eduardo Rodriguez was expecting. He’s missed the last three months with ribcage strain and will make his first start back. As bad the Detroit lineup has been and prone to the strikeouts, so have the Angels, as they’re in the bottom five in both categories this month.

The pitching matchup favors Los Angeles, but I’m not expecting too much scoring on either side.

What are Player Props?
Player props refer to wagers that bettors can make based on player performance in a specific game. The majority of player props are built around the most common statistical benchmarks for a specific sport such as yards and touchdowns in football. Most player props are straight over/under plays that open at or near -110 and are adjusted based on where the money lands.
