Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Phillies

The Chicago Cubs will pitch young righty Nate Pearson tonight. Pearson has thrown against 145 righties this season but has allowed a .246 ISO and wOBA of .349.

Over the last 30 days, he’s thrown against 25 righties and has allowed a .292 ISO and wOBA of .361. In addition, he’s earned only 25% of ground balls and has allowed 35% of line drives with 30% of fly balls to those last 25 righties.

Therefore, we’ll attack Pearson with Philadelphia’s right-handed batters.

Trea Turner has hit a .340 wOBA over the last 30 days. But more importantly, he’s only struck out 19.1% of the time against righties. He’s got great potential to put the ball in play and earn some hits.

Next, Nick Castellanos has slugged a .181 ISO and wOBA of .320 against his last 80 righties. Finally, JT Realmuto has been red-hot against righties, adding a .333 ISO and wOBA of .422 in the previous 30 days.

Let’s stack up the right-handed bats for the Phillies in this same-game parlay.

Parlay Odds: +894

San Francisco Giants vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Eduardo Rodriguez will get the start for the Diamondbacks. He’ll face a Giants lineup filled with right-handed hitters that have struggled to hit lefties.

The San Francisco projected lineup has hit a .044 ISO and wOBA of .231 against lefties over the last 30 days. The lineup has also struck out 27% of the time against lefties in the previous month.

Rodriguez has struck out 24.4% of righties over the last 30 days, giving me confidence he’ll add at least six strikeouts in tonight’s ball game.

Meanwhile, Hayden Birdsong will get the ball for the Giants. The young right-hander has allowed a .200 ISO and wOBA of .329 to his last 30 righties.

Christian Walker and Eugenio Suarez are the two power right-handed bats that have slugged against righties lately. Walker has hit a .333 ISO and wOBA of .357, while Suarez has launched a .239 ISO and wOBA of .372 against righties over the last 30 days. Add those two total bases props to conclude the parlay.
