Friday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

All odds are from DraftKings SportsBook.

Toronto Blue Jays at New York Yankees

Leg 1: New York Yankees -1.5 (+150)

Yusei Kikuchi has been solid for the Blue Jays in 2023 but still has issues with the long ball. Domingo German has similar problems, but I believe in the talent more and think he can keep the Jays’ offense at bay enough to give the Yankees the win.

Leg 2: New York Yankees o5.5 Runs (+170)

This is another bet against Kikuchi. The Yankees’ offense is largely built on the long ball, an issue Kikuchi has had in his career, and their right-handed hitters do most of the damage. This all makes for a great matchup for them to put up a big number.

Leg 3: Aaron Judge 2+ Total Bases (+100)

If the Yankees are going to score a lot of runs, there’s one man who will be a big part of that, Aaron Judge. The issue with him is that he is patient enough to walk his way to missing this bet, but he should get a few pitches to hit to get that one extra-base hit he needs.

Combined Odds: +425

Houston Astros at Atlanta Braves

Leg 1: Astros Moneyline (+100)

Bryce Elder has been excellent for the Braves, but I think this is where it comes crashing down. The Astros have not been at their best in the early going, but they still have two of the league’s best hitters in Kyle Tucker and Yordan Alvarez. I think one of these two can be the first to take Elder deep.

Leg 2; Kyle Tucker 2+ Total Bases (+110)

Speaking of Tucker, he has been incredible to start the season. He has a wRC+ of 177, and that does not appear to be carried by any insane BABIPs. I like the total bases bet as a bit of a hedge, but I have no concerns with making this an HR bet as well.

Leg 3: Atlanta Braves u3.5 Runs (+130)

Hunter Brown has also been excellent for the Astros, much like Elder. However, based on the 2022 sample as well as his minor league track record, I am more willing to believe he is an ace than Elder. This Braves offense is elite, but he’s talented enough to keep them off the board.

Combined Odds: +400

Washington Nationals at Minnesota Twins

Leg 1: Twins -1.5 Runs (+105)

The Twins are off to an incredible start on the back of elite pitching and just enough offense. Tyler Mahle has not been the best of their arms, but he gets to face a poor Nationals offense. The Twins should be able to score on Trevor Williams and win this one relatively easily.

Leg 2: Tyler Mahle 7+ Strikeouts (+170)

Mahle is looking more like the guy we all loved in Cincy as opposed to the pitcher who struggled last season. The strikeouts are back up and look like they are here to stay. The Nationals do not strike out a lot, but Mahle has enough talent that I think he can overcome that.

Twins o4.5 Runs (+100)

As stated before, the Twins’ offense has been slightly below average but has done just enough when needed. Williams is a pitch-to-contact type which should make him a fantastic matchup for the power hitters on the Twins, like Joey Gallo, who tend to strike out too much. The Twins may put a few balls out tonight to help them reach this number.

Combined Odds: +500
