Full Friday’s worth of games on tap, including the second game in what has the making of an epic series between the Rays and Orioles. MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions

Baltimore Orioles at Tampa Bay Rays

Baltimore ML (+120) and o4.5 Runs (+150)

The battle of the two best teams in the American League is also a battle of two teams currently on opposite paths. The Orioles have been hot coming out of the break, and the Rays and their offense, in particular, have struggled a bit. However, the Rays can still pitch and are sending offseason reclamation project Zach Eflin to the mound. Eflin has been strong this season, but with the recent callups, this Baltimore offense looks like it has enough upside to put up a big number in this one. Kyle Bradish has quietly been one of the best pitchers in all of baseball, and after a rough first month of the season, he has pitched like an ace. He had eight strikeouts the last time he faced the Rays, and I believe that with the roll he has been on, the Orioles have the pitching advantage in this one.

Gunnar Henderson 2+ TBs (+140)

We could go with almost any of the Orioles’ left-handed bats in this slot but let’s go with Henderson officially. Henderson has a hit in six straight games and an extra base hit in five of those six. He has big-time power and has quietly had a much better season than I think people give him credit for.

Combined Odds: +425

New York Mets at Boston Red Sox

Mets ML (-105) and o5.5 Runs (+140)

I find myself betting on the Mets often in games started by Kodai Senga. The Japanese right-hander has some elite pure stuff and is able to post ridiculous numbers in the games he throws enough strikes. Boston is in the bottom third of the league in BB%, lining up well for Senga. The Mets’ offense has not been the weakness of the team, and while I am a big fan of Boston starter Kutter Crawford, he has had a few games where the long ball comes into play. I also believe that the Green Monster should play into the skillsets of the Mets hitters.

Brett Baty 2+ TBs (+145)

Baty has homered in two of his last three games, but this bet is about the Monster. He does not hit a ton of balls the other way, but when he does, it tends to be in the air, and he has enough power to hit flyballs the other way and have them bang off the monster. He should be able to keep his hot hitting since the break going in this one.

Combined Odds: +400

Houston Astros at Oakland Athletics

Athletics ML (+205) and 04.5 Run (+285)

Let’s get a bit frisky with this last bet today and take the massive underdog in the Athletics. JP Sears has been one of the few bright spots for Oakland, and if he could solve his HR issue, he would be a bonafide ace. He gets to pitch in Oakland tonight, which always helps with the long ball, and while there is still power in this Astros lineup, they just aren’t as dangerous without Altuve or Yordan. Framber Valdez has given up four or more runs in two of his last three starts as is nursing a bit of an injury, so the team might be careful with him in this one. This certainly is not an automatic bet, as the numbers show, but I think this Oakland offense can do just enough to help hit this, especially with their two recent call-ups.

Brent Rooker 2+ TBs (+205)

Rooker has cooled off since his incredible start to the season, but the righty is still well above average versus Southpaws. His ISO is 0.240 versus lefties, and the wRC+ is 137. If the Athletics are going to hold up their end of the bargain here, they need Rooker to do some damage.

Combined Odds: +850
