Only four teams remain in the MLB Playoffs, and all four will play tonight!

Game 2 of the Rangers-Astros series will be played in the afternoon, while the Diamondbacks-Phillies will begin their NLCS series with a primetime game under the lights.

I’ve got a same-game parlay for both matchups. Let’s lock in!

Texas Rangers vs. Houston Astros

  • Leg 1: Jose Abreu Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120)
  • Leg 2: Marcus Semien Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)
  • Leg 3: Framber Valdez Over 4.5 Ks (-172)

The Houston Astros will face Nathan Eovaldi of the Texas Rangers. He’s done well, holding teams to a .137 ISO and wOBA of .315 over the last 30 days. However, this season, 344 righties hit a .170 ISO and wOBA of .324 against Eovaldi. Righties have a slight advantage against Eovaldi this year.

Jose Abreu has smacked a .250 ISO and wOBA of .340 against his last 61 righties. We’ll take him to earn two total bases tonight.

Meanwhile, Framber Valdez will get the start for the Astros. The left-hander has struck out 27.8% of batters over the last month. Today, he’ll take on a Texas lineup that has struck out 28.7% of the time against lefties, plus the Rangers have five batters striking out at least 25% of the time.

Only two bats in the Rangers’ lineup can do damage. One of them is Marcus Semien, who has hit a .357 ISO and wOBA of .489 against his last 16 lefties. So while he might do some damage and is a good prop bet, the entire team won’t.

Parlay Odds: +747

Arizona Diamondbacks at Philadelphia Phillies

  • Leg 1: Trea Turner Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
  • Leg 2: Nick Castellanos Over 1.5 Total Bases (+150)
  • Leg 3: Zack Wheeler Over 6.5 Ks (-112)

The Diamondbacks will pitch Zac Gallen for tonight’s NLCS Game 1. Gallen has held teams to a .115 ISO and a wOBA of .300 over the last month. However, righties have hit off Gallen with a .318 wOBA. They’ve also smacked 25.6% of fly balls and 27.9% of line drives against Gallen over the last 30 days.

Although Gallen’s ground ball rate has increased over the last month, it’s still not very high against righties.

Trea Turner has socked a .273 ISO and wOBA of .467 with only 7.8% of strikeouts over the last month. He’ll put some hard contact into play. Meanwhile, Nick Castellanos has a higher strikeout percentage of 22.8%. But he’s also been red hot, hitting a .538 ISO and wOBa of .505 against his last 57 righties.

Those two sluggers should have success against Gallen tonight.

On the other hand, the Phillies will send out Zack Wheeler. The veteran righty has struck out 28.8% of batters in the last 30 days, higher than his 27.4% of strikeouts this season. Wheeler has earned 15.5% of swinging strikes in the previous 30 days, with a 29.1% whiff percentage.

He’ll now face a Diamondbacks lineup with each player striking out at least 16.1% of the time. Arizona has six batters striking out 19.6% of the time. Therefore, Wheeler has plenty of targets to reach seven strikeouts at home tonight.

Parlay Odds: +839
