It’s a new week in the MLB, which means a new opportunity for sports betting. Here are my best Same Game Parlay (SGP) odds, picks and predictions for Monday, April 24.

Today’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

Boston Red Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles

The Red Sox visit Baltimore on Monday to begin their series with the Orioles. Chris Sale is coming off his best start of the season, pitching six innings and giving up only one run to a strong Twins lineup. Despite this outing, Sale’s ERA still sits at a lofty 8.00.

Conversely, the Orioles will have Righty Dean Kremer on the hill today. Kremer is also coming off his best start of the season, pitching six-plus shut-out innings against a struggling Nationals team to bring his 2023 ERA down to 6.16. I expect a lot of runs between these teams over the next few days, as pitching is an area of concern for both teams. These teams faced off in the season’s opening series and combined for a total of 50 runs in three games.

One player that is not a concern right now is Alex Verdugo. Verdugo is batting .322, good for the best on the Red Sox. Even though he’s 1-8 in his past two games, I’m looking to ride the lefty Verdugo yet again against the righty Kremer to hit over two-plus total bases today. I expect Sale to hold off the Orioles long enough to start this game and help the Sox reach four runs first.

New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins

The Yankees and Twins face off in Minnesota today to begin a three-game series. The Yankees are coming off a series vs. Toronto, where they lost two of three. The Twins are coming off a disappointing series loss to the Nationals.

Sonny Gray is on the mound for the Twins and is looking to extend his incredible start to the season, as he’s only given up two runs in 22 innings pitched. He’ll have his hands full today with a tough Yankees lineup. Anthony Rizzo is coming off a disappointing 2-12 performance against the Blue Jays but still holds a strong .316 batting average for the season. I expect the Yankees to give Gray some trouble today on their way to a win on the road. Look for Rizzo to get back into a rhythm today, as he has a plus matchup against the righty Gray. I’m confident that the Yankees, especially Rizzo, will put up some hits and runs early in this game.

Houston Astros vs. Tampa Bay Rays

The Rays are off to a historic start to begin the 2023 season. After starting 13-0 to begin the season, they lost two out of three in a series at Toronto. Now, they are on another five-game winning streak and look to extend their record at home to 14-0 today against the defending champs.

22-year-old Taj Bradley is on the mound for the Rays. He is coming off a strong outing against the lowly Reds with 5.1 shutout innings. I expect the Astros’ stronger lineup to give Bradley a harder time than his last outing. Look for Bradley to get into some trouble today and the Astros to get to the Rays’ bullpen early. I like the Astros to get two-three runs early on the road on their way to giving the Rays their first home loss of the season.
