Typically, Mondays don’t have humungous slates. But tonight’s different. We’ve got 13 games on the MLB board!

There’s tons of value, so I’ve added multiple same-game parlays for tonight. Let’s start the week with a bang!

Detroit Tigers @ Pittsburgh Pirates

Reese Olson only struck out 13.6% of batters in his first start of the season. However, last year, he added 24.5% of strikeouts and earned more than 26% of strikeouts against lefties. There’s reason to believe his strikeout numbers will increase.

Olson is facing a Pirates team that should have at least four lefties. He’s also taking on a lineup that has struck out 25.9% of the time against righties dating back to last season. There’s not a single batter in the Pittsburgh lineup that hasn’t struck out less than 20.7% of the time dating back to last season.

On the other hand, Mitch Keller struck out 25.5% of batters last season but has only earned 11.1% of strikeouts this year. I also like Keller to get back on track with strikeouts since he’s going up against a Tigers lineup that struck out 23.8% of the time, dating back to last year against righties. Detroit has two batters who have struck out fewer times than 23.3%. That gives Keller seven targets in the Detroit lineup.

However, Keller did struggle a little bit against lefties last season. He allowed a .202 ISO and wOBA of .339. While Keller will have a big day, he’ll still give up some hits. Kerry Carpenter has been the most consistent bat in the Detroit lineup against righties. In his last 388 plate appearances against righties, Carpenter has slugged a .223 ISO and wOBA of 370.

Parlay Odds: +423

New York Mets @ Atlanta Braves

The Mets are pitching Julio Teheran for the first time this season. He’s replacing Tylor Megill in the starting rotation. However, last season, against 289 batters, he allowed a .213 ISO and wOBA of .329 with just 17.3% of strikeouts. He wasn’t all that good. Teheran is ultimately past his prime.

He’ll face one of his former teams, the Atlanta Braves. The Braves have one of the most consistent offenses in baseball dating back to last year.

Ronald Acuna Jr. has hit a .251 ISO and wOBA of .437 against his last 622 righties. Matt Olson has smashed a .346 ISO and wOBA of .448 against his last 557 righties. Finally, Marcell Ozuna has knocked a .273 ISO and wOBA of .388 against his last 479 righties.

Teheren’s first start with the Mets likely won’t be pretty. Back all of the Braves bats in this one.

Parlay Odds: +590
