I’ve added two same-game parlays for tonight’s seven-game slate. While some of the matchups on the slate don’t look appealing to the naked eye, once we dug deeper, we found some value!

Orioles vs. Rays MLB Same Game Parlay

The Baltimore Orioles will pitch Corbin Burnes for tonight’s game against the Rays. Burnes is a righty pitcher who has struck out 24.1% of batters, including 27.2% of righties. While Burnes hasn’t had as much success against lefties, I don’t think he’ll have much of a problem against the Rays tonight.

The projected Tampa Bay lineup has struck out 29.2% of the time against righties in the last month. They’ve got six batters who have struck out at least 24.3% of the time in the previous 30 days. However, the projected lineup has also hit just a .109 ISO and woBA of .233 against righties.

Don’t be surprised if Burnes goes deep in tonight’s game.

On the other hand, Ryan Pepiot will get the call for the Rays. He’s a young pitcher for the Rays with plenty of potential. However, against lefties, he’s allowed a .178 ISO with 28.3% of fly balls and just 36.7% of ground balls induced. He’s also allowed 40% of hard contact and has earned only 10.8% of swinging strikes against lefties.

Meanwhile, Gunnar Henderson has hit a .373 ISO and wOBA of .421 against his last 94 righties, and Adley Rutschman has hit a .208 ISO and wOBA of .323 against his last 83 righties. Those two have each limited strikeouts below 22% and have each hit fly balls above 30% in the previous 30 days against righties.

Athletics vs. Padres MLB Same Game Parlay

Oakland is set to pitch Joey Estes tonight against the Padres. He’s a righty who has allowed a .263 ISO and wOBA of .316 to his first 43 lefties. Estes has also allowed 33.3% of line drives and 40.7% of fly balls and has induced below 15% of ground balls against lefties this season.

Therefore, Jurickson Profar is in line for a big day. He’s already hit a .175 ISO and wOBA of .387 from the left side against right-handed pitching over the last month. He’s got the numbers to sustain that success heading into tonight’s game against the Athletics.

Meanwhile, Estes has struck out only 23.4% of batters this season. It’s a little above average. However, the Padres have struck out just 14.6% of the time as a projected lineup over the last 30 days against righties. There won’t be much opportunity for Estes.

With Dylan Cease, there will be. The Padres’ pitcher has struck out 30.5% of batters this season. Tonight, he’ll take on an Athletics projected lineup that has hit a .126 ISO and a wOBA of .278 against righties in the last 30 days. The lineup has also struck out 28.8% of the time against righties, with six batters striking out at least 25.3% of the time. Back Cease to add at least nine strikeouts, and don’t be surprised if he hits double-digits.
