MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (7/24)

There are ten games on the MLB slate, including a day game between the Giants and Tigers.

A Monday-day game is rare, but that should help get the day going for the other nine games on the slate.

Here are two same-game parlays to consider for the later portion of the schedule tonight.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Philadelphia Phillies

It’ll be Dean Kremer on the mound for the Orioles tonight. Kremer is a right-handed pitcher getting blasted by left-handed hitting over the last 30 days. It’s been a consistent them for Kremer against lefties. He’s allowed a .245 ISO and wOBA of .396 to 211 lefties this season.

However, in the last 30 days, he’s allowed a .400 ISO and wOBA of .415 against his last 51 lefties.

I’ll stack the Philadelphia lefties here. But I’m not including Bryce Harper. Harper has hit a .047 ISO and wOBA of .247 against righties over the last 30 days. Other lefties in the lineup have hit at a much better rate.

Kyle Schwarber has slugged a .275 ISO and wOBA of .321 against his last 77 righties. Brandon Marsh has slugged a .264 ISO and wOBA of .399 against his last 58 righties.

Finally, Bryson Stott has hit a .167 ISO and woBA of .392 with just 12.7% of strikeouts against righties over the last month.

Those three have a solid probability of earning two or one extra-base hit.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Milwaukee Brewers

The Reds and Brewers will play another significant series starting tonight. The NL Central is really between those two teams. Milwaukee got the best of Cincinnati in their series out of the All-Star Break.

Colin Rea will take the mound for the Brewers. He’s allowed a .267 ISO and wOBA of .356 to his last 49 lefties. Rea has also earned just 10.2% of strikeouts against lefties over the previous month.

The Reds have many lefties that can do damage. Joey Votto stands out with a .353 ISO and wOBA of .366 against his last 59 righties. Meanwhile, Will Benson has hit a .400 ISO and wOBA of .519 against his last 57 righties. Those two lefties need one hit each.

On the other hand, Graham Ashcraft will get the call for the Reds. He’s allowed a .232 ISO and wOBA of .347 to his last 62 lefties. The only lefty that has done severe damage consistently is Christian Yelich. Yelich has hit a .290 ISO and wOBA of .480. He’s also struck out just 10.1% of the time. Knowing that Yelich will put the ball in play has me comfortable enough to take him to earn at least two hits at the top of the order tonight.
