MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (9/25)

We’ve got a five-game slate on the MLB board tonight.

However, there’s still some value in a couple of the games. That’s all that matters.

Here are some same-game parlays for 40% of the MLB games!

Texas Rangers vs. Los Angeles Angels

I expect some offense between the Rangers and the Angels tonight.

The Angels will pitch Patrick Sandoval, a lefty pitcher, allowing a .160 ISO and wOBA of .404 to his last 86 righties. Sandoval has struck out just under 20% of righties in the previous month and has only induced 35.6% of ground balls in that time.

He’s also given up 39% of line drives and 47.5% of hard contact to righties.

Meanwhile, Adolis Garcia has hit a .545 ISO and wOBA of .408 against his last 12 lefties.

On the flip side, it’ll be Jon Gray on the mound for the Rangers. The right-hander has allowed a .262 ISO and wOBA of .420 to his last 96 batters. Gray has only thrown about 71 pitches per start over the previous month due to how poorly he’s thrown against lefties and righties.

Brandon Drury of the Angels has smacked a .274 ISO and wOBA of .381 against his last 80 righties. Meanwhile, Brett Phillips, who will likely bat ninth, has hit a .294 ISO and wOBA of .389 against his last 38 righties.

Those two should have success against Gray tonight.

Parlay Odds: +904

Houston Astros vs. Seattle Mariners

Justin Verlander will take the hill for the Astros tonight.

However, he hasn’t been very good over the last month. Verlander has allowed a .321 ISO and wOBA of .394 to his previous 61 righties faced.

The veteran and former AL Cy Young winner has allowed nearly 40% of fly balls and has induced only 27.9% of ground balls against righties over the last 30 days. He’s been just as bad against lefties but has escaped more damage due to a higher strikeout rate against lefties.

However, he’s given up nearly 56% of hard contact when the ball is in play over the last month.

The top of the Mariners’ order has dominated right-handed pitching in the last month. So, let’s roll with that.

Julio Rodriguez has hit a .372 ISO and wOBA of .412 in his last 81 plate appearances against righties. Cal Raleigh, who will bat lefty as a switch-hitter, has hit a .215 ISO and wOBA of .352 against his previous 74 plate appearances against righties.

Finally, Teoscar Hernandez has slugged a .230 ISO and woBA of .374 against his last 83 righties.

With Verlander struggling badly, I’m confident in these Seattle bats.

Parlay Odds: +788
