MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (9/4)
Happy Labor Day! Although it’s a Monday, the MLB has plenty of games throughout the day. Still, you should make sure to get your bets in early. There’s only one game after 6:40 p.m. ET.
I’m eying two games for a same-game parlay in the late afternoon. Let’s get to it!
Monday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Oakland Athletics
- Leg 1: George Springer Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115)
- Leg 2: Davis Schneider Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)
- Leg 3: Kevin Kiermaier Over 0.5 Hits (-230)
The Oakland Athletics will pitch Ken Waldichuk for today’s matchup. Waldichuk is a left-handed pitcher who has given up a .235 ISO and wOBA of .353 against his last 114 batters.
Waldichuk has also allowed over 33% of fly balls to righties and lefties in the last month.
The Blue Jays will start their lineup with George Springer and Davis Schneider. Both are right-handed bats who have had significant success against lefties in the last 30 days.
Springer has slugged a .273 ISO and wOBA of .489 against his last 24 lefties. Meanwhile, Schenider has smacked a .619 ISO and wOBA of .643 against his last 26 lefties.
With Waldichuk allowing a .247 ISO and wOBA of .357 over the last 30 days, Toronto’s right-handed bats have a lot of potential in this matchup.
Meanwhile, Waldichuk has also allowed a .190 ISO and wOBA of .340 to his last 26 lefties. Lefties this season have hit a .286 ISO and wOBA of .397 against the left-hander. He’s struggled against both sides of the plate.
Therefore, I’ll add Kevin Kiermaier to earn at least one base hit. He’ll likely bat ninth and won’t get a ton of opportunities. However, he’s hit a .300 ISO and wOBA of .415 against his last 11 lefties. That’s a solid sample size from Kiermaier and a great matchup against Waldichuk.

Colorado Rockies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
- Leg 1: Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)
- Leg 2: Gabriel Moreno Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)
- Leg 3: Merrill Kelly Over 6.5 Ks (-166)
The Colorado Rockies will send out Peter Lambert for today’s matchup against the Diamondbacks. The right-hander has allowed a .250 ISO and wOBA of .367 to his last 113 batters.
He’s also given up a .247 ISO and wOBA of .367 to 327 batters this season.
It hasn’t been an excellent year for Lambert with the Rockies.
Lately, as a right-handed pitcher, he’s struggled even more against right-handed hitters. He’s allowed a .241 ISO and wOBA of .382 to his last 58 righties.
Lourdes Gurriel is a right-handed bat for the Diamondbacks, who have destroyed right-handed pitching recently. Gurriel Jr. has slugged a .236 ISO and wOBA of .345 against his last 61 righties.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Moreno has hit a .400 ISO and wOBA of .531 against his last 39 righties. Moreno has even limited strikeouts to 12.8% against righties in that time.
Conversely, Merrill Kelly has struck out 24.4% of batters in the last 30 days. He’s also struck out nearly 26% of batters this season. He’ll face a Rockies lineup that has struck out 29.4% of the time in the last month against righties.
Eight of the nine batters have struck out at least 23.7% of the time against righties, and six of those eight batters have struck out at least 29.2% of the time against righties.
Kelly will have his target to earn at least seven strikeouts to finish the parlay.
