Cleveland Guardians vs. Washington Nationals
The Guardians will look to pull out the brooms as they go for the sweep against the Nationals. They haven't gotten to the best start - the pitching has been average. However, this lineup likes to score by stringing along hits and getting on base, but they're in the bottom half in average and on-base percentage.
Their ace Shane Bieber is three out of three in quality starts, but the lack of offense has the Guardians 1-2 in those games. He should be at his best tonight against the Nationals, which have scored the fourth-fewest runs.
Cleveland should have a great offensive game against Patrick Corbin. To put it bluntly, Corbin's tenure in Washington has been a disaster as heâs 32-51 with a 5.00 ERA.
The Guardians should cruise to a win.
Total Odds: +470
Baltimore Orioles vs. Chicago White Sox
Yesterday the White Sox won dramatically with two runs in the tenth to tie up this series as they head into the rubber match.
The offense has been on display, with 22 runs scored in these games. The Orioles are having a fantastic season at the plate, and are sixth in OPS and home runs while leading in stolen bases.
Can this offense break through against Dylan Cease? He's brought over that fantastic 2022 season, and in his first three starts, he's allowed one earned in each and averaged over a strikeout per inning.
Take the power pitcher over the power lineup.
Total Odds: +470
Chicago Cubs vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
Dodgers won excitingly on Jackie Robinson day when David Peralta had a two-RBI single in the ninth to walk it off against the Cubs.
The Dodgers haven't had the strongest start to the season, coming in at just 8-7, and have dropped four of their last seven.
If there's one guy who can get their first three-game series win since the opener, it's Julio Urias. He was a Cy Young candidate last year and is trending in that direction again, winning all three of his starts with a 1.50 ERA.
This looks to be an excellent matchup for him against Chicago, who's been one of the better lineups this year. In 44 at-bats against Urias, the Cubs roster is hitting just .205 with five extra-base hits.
Total Odds: +483
