The weather is getting warmer, and we're fully into the MLB season. Let's look at interesting matchups for tonight.

Philadelphia Phillies at Colorado Rockies

The Phillies are on a nice run at the moment, winning five straight, and would like a second consecutive series sweep. The pitching that's been a problem throughout the season is getting better, and they have a 1.70 ERA during this winning streak. Aaron Nola’s overall numbers aren't great, but he's getting better and has four quality starts in his last five outings.

The Rockies’ pitching continues to be the worse part of this team. They've always had the benefit of their offense playing well at home, but even that's been struggling this year. Kyle Freeland is Colorado's best pitcher, but he even feels the effects of pitching in Denver with a 4.44 ERA at home.

The Phillies have been getting all the offensive benefits of playing in the mile high. I have them taking the brooms out.

Parlay Odds: +793

San Fransisco Giants at Arizona Diamondbacks

The Giants tried to make some moves in the offseason, but most didn't happen, and what they currently have isn't working out. The pitching is 18th in ERA, and even in a pitcher's ballpark, their home ERA is ranked 14th. They have a great top of the rotation, and that includes Logan Webb. He has four straight quality starts with at least seven strikeouts in three.

The Diamondbacks are among the most surprising teams this season, as they sit in second place in the NL West. This was a mediocre offense last year, but now they're second in average with the third-fewest strikeouts. That offense will need to be on display as rookie Brandon Pfaadt gets the start. He's been torched in his first two starts with a 12.10 ERA and has allowed six home runs in 9.2 innings.

The Giants have an excellent opportunity to salvage this series and leave with a split.

Parlay Odds: +460

Atlanta Braves at Toronto Blue Jays

The Blue Jays lineup continues to deliver by being second in expected batting average and third in barrel percentage, but the pitching has been average all season. One of the better starters this season has been Yusei Kikuchi. He's been especially untouchable at home, going 2-0 with a 0.77 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 11 innings.

The Braves are already beginning to pull away in the NL East as they come in with a five-game lead. Power pitching and power hitting drive them, and this offense leads in both hard-hit and barrel percentage, while the pitching is sixth in ERA. Reliever Colin McHugh will get the start but has not pitched more than three innings this year, and he will likely serve as an opener.

I'm putting my confidence in Kikuchi and how well he performs at home to lead the Jays to a victory.

Parlay Odds: +917
