New York Yankees at San Francisco Giants
- Leg 1: Yankees -1.5 (+114)
- Leg 2: Aaron Judge Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
- Leg 3: Yankees ALT Over 3.5 Team Total Runs (-165)
The Yankees' offense has been fantastic in the bay, as they've put up 13 runs in the first two games. Aaron Judge has gone from getting booed at Yankee Stadium to now being the odds-on favorite to win the American League MVP award. This run he is on is unbelievable - hitting .375, .489 on-base percentage (OBP), .911 SLG, 1.400 OPS, 17 home runs and 34 RBI in 32 games. They will look to Nestor Cortes to help lead the sweep. He is looking like the phenomenon from 2022. Over his last three starts, he has a 1.04 ERA, and opponents have a .290 slugging.
The Giants’ pitching hasn't been able to contain the power of the Yankees, as they've allowed four home runs in a park that has allowed the fewest this season. San Fransisco's pitching has been inconsistent this year, ranking 26th in ERA and 28th in hits per nine. Blake Snell got a late start to the season and blames not getting proper spring training for his struggles. He's always had problems with walks. His 11.5% walk rate isn't surprising, but he's been able to balance that with 30%+ strikeout rates; this season, it's at just 24.7%, his worst since 2017.
Yankees bats should stay hot as they pull the brooms out.

Los Angeles Angels at Seattle Mariners
- Leg 1: Mariners -1.5 (+114)
- Leg 2: Luis Castillo Over 6.5 Strikouts (-120)
- Leg 3: Over 7 Runs (-125)
The American League West didn't have a team that looked like it could run away with that division for the first few weeks. It seems like the Mariners have begun to separate themselves from the pack. They have won six of their last seven, all against division rivals, and now have a four-game lead. The pitching has been holding it down with a 2.12 ERA in that span. If this team wants to win a title, they need to do better than hitting .217 in that same span. Luis Castillo has resumed his dominant ways after a rough start to the season and has a 2.26 ERA and nine straight quality starts.
The Angels have moved themselves into the cellar of the American League West. They have lost seven of their last eight and are on the verge of being swept for the second time in their previous three series. The pitching has been dreadful in this span, allowing 5.7 runs per game in this span and overall this year. Their 4.62 ERA ranks 28th in the league. Griffin Canning is another pitcher who was terrible at the start of the year but has figured it out. In his first six starts, he had a 7.45 ERA; in his last five, it's 2.60.
The Angels are only 2-3 in that span, which has much to do with the lack of run support. Another excellent pitching performance from Castillo should lead to a sweep.
