MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (4/25)
There have been some surprises this season as we wrap up the opening month of regular season play. The Cleveland Guardians are tied for the MLB lead in wins with 17 so far as they continue their hot start. On the other end of the spectrum, the Houston Astros have struggled mightily as they find themselves with a 7-18 record heading into todayâs game.
Let's take a look at our top Same-Game Parlays (SGPs) for Thursday, April 25.

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Milwaukee Brewers @ Pittsburgh Pirates
- Leg 1: Pirates Moneyline (+100)
- Leg 2: Oneil Cruz Over 0.5 Singles (+110)
- Leg 3: Pirates Over 3.5 Runs Scored (+110)
Weâll start with the first game of the day in Pittsburgh as the Pirates try to even out a four-game series against the Brewers. We have a good pitching matchup between two right handers today, with Mitch Keller throwing for the Pirates and Freddy Peralta on the mound for the Brewers. Peralta is off to a very strong start to the season as heâs 2-0 with a 1.90 ERA and 3 strikeouts thus far. However, all good things must come to an end. Keller has been up-and-down to start the season, but I think a day game at home against the Brewers without Christian Yelich will help him get back on track.
The past couple weeks have been rough for the Pirates, but I think they get a win today before they head to San Francisco. On the offensive side, I expect Oneil Cruz to stay hot, as heâs had five hits in three games so far this series. He draws the plus-matchup against the righty and may get a bump up near the top of this lineup. He's been doing his damage against right-handed pitching this season, batting .294 versus RHP. I think guys like Connor Joe and KeâBryan Hayes can bounce back today and put up 4+ runs after going hitless yesterday on the way to a Pirates win.

Boston Red Sox @ Cleveland Guardians
- Leg 1: Red Sox Moneyline (+120)
- Leg 2: Wilyer Abreu Over 0.5 Singles (+115)
- Leg 3: Rafael Devers Over 0.5 RBIs (+150)
The Red Sox and Guardians will play Game 3 of their series tonight with each team having won a game thus far. Chase Anderson will start for Boston, while Triston McKenzie will be on the hill for the Guardians. It looks like the Sox will use Anderson for only a few innings to start the game, as heâs done multiple times this season. They should have plenty of arms available in the bullpen after a blowout 8-0 win last night. Iâm expecting a combination of Anderson, Chris Martin and Kenley Jansen to keep this Guardians lineup on their toes on their way to another win today.
Wilyer Abreu has been on an absolute tear during his six-game hitting streak as he has 13 hits in that span after a 4-5 game last night. Heâs seeing the ball exceptionally well and has been crushing right handed pitching this season, batting .340 vs. RHP with an OPS of 1.011. Look for him to continue this with a single today against the struggling Triston McKenzie (5.00 ERA in 2024).
I also have Rafael Devers doing some damage tonight with 1+ RBIs. He returned to the Red Sox lineup last night after missing 5 straight games and came away with a 3-4 performance including a HR. I have him driving in another run tonight while helping the Red Sox pick up a big win.

Seattle Mariners @ Texas Rangers
- Leg 1: Mariners Moneyline (-125)
- Leg 2: Mitch Haniger Over 0.5 Singles (+105)
- Leg 3: Mitch Haniger Over 0.5 RBIs (+130)
The Mariners and Rangers will play Game 3 of their series tonight with each team having won a game thus far. Luis Castillo will start for Seattle, while Andrew Heaney will be on the hill for the Rangers. Both of these pitchers have struggled so far in 2024 after having good season in 2023. Which pitcher will bounce back first? Iâm putting my money on Ace Luis Castillo. Heâs had some bad luck in April, as the offense scored only two runs each game in his three losses. I expect some more offensive support tonight for him to help him get his second win of the season. Heaney is 0-2 on the season with a 6.35 ERA and is a lower velocity guy than Castillo. Heâll need to rely on great pitch locations to get back on track and Iâm a bit hesitant on him at the moment.
Mitch Haniger is a guy that has seen Heaney well so far in his career. Heâs 8-22 (.364 average) vs. Heaney including 3 Home Runs. He leads the Mariners in RBIs this season and I have him getting another one tonight with a comfortable matchup. Heâs also seeing left-handed pitching pretty well this season, as he comes in with a .313 batting average vs. LHP.
Look for Haniger to knock in a run and Castillo to bounce back for a win in Texas tonight.
