MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (4/4)
After a week of regular-season baseball, we are beginning to see the identities of some of these teams, who could be contenders and who are pretenders.
The Pittsburgh Pirates started 5-0 for the first time in 40+ years, and the Detroit Tigers also started undefeated. Could these teams be finally back to relevance or is this just a lucky start?
We will see how these storylines play out, but letâs take a look at our top Same-Game Parlays (SGPs) for Thursdayâs small slate of games:

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Pittsburgh Pirates @ Washington Nationals
- Leg 1: Pirates Moneyline (-140)
- Leg 2: Bryan Reynolds Over 0.5 Singles (-105)
- Leg 3: Bryan Reynolds Over 0.5 RBIs (+155)
The Pirates will face off against the Nationals tonight to decide the winner of this three-game series. Martin Perez is on the mound for the Pirates, with Josiah Gray getting the nod for the Nats. The Pirates are looking to finish this road trip at 6-1 before heading home this weekend for their home opener. After their 5-0 start, losing two of three against the Nationals would be very disappointing. The Pirates must lock in today against Josiah Gray, who is looking to bounce back from a rough outing his last time out. On the other hand, Perez is coming off a solid start against the Marlins, where he pitched 4.1 innings and gave up only one earned run.
Bryan Reynolds started the season with a five-game hitting streak before he snapped it yesterday in an 0-4 performance with two strikeouts. I like him to bounce back today against Gray, where heâs had some success in limited opportunities. Heâs 4-8 with one HR and three RBIs against Gray in his career. Look for Reynolds to deliver a single and RBI in a win today against the lowly Nationals.
Parlay Odds: +500
Detroit Tigers @ New York Mets (Game 1)
- Leg 1: Mets Moneyline (-140)
- Leg 2: Francisco Lindor Over 0.5 Singles (-115)
- Leg 3: Riley Greene Over 0.5 Singles (-125)
The Tigers will face New York for a doubleheader as they look to resume and finish their series against the Mets after a couple of rain delays. Casey Mize will be on the hill for the Tigers, while Adrian Houser will get the start for the Mets.
Hopefully, New York can regroup after a few days off because they surely needed it. An 0-4 start with tempers flaring against Milwaukee was not how the Mets wanted to start their season. I think they will come out with a different mindset today and play well with Houser on the mound at home. Francisco Lindor and Jeff McNeil have been struggling, as theyâve started a combined 2-28 with 0 RBIs. I believe that begins to change today, as Lindor will bounce back and get on base against the righty Mize.
Similarly, the Tigersâ Riley Greene has also started out slow, as heâs 1-15 to start the season. I like him to get going today, as he has a plus-matchup against the righty Houser.
With the Tigers undefeated and the Mets winless, I expect both of these trends to end today. Look for Lindor and company to get off to a strong start in Game 1. They may even sweep the doubleheader to gain some momentum heading into their weekend series against the Reds.
Parlay Odds: +475
