Thursday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees

    • Leg 1: Rays Moneyline (-120)
    • Leg 2: Anthony Rizzo 1+ Total bases (-185)
    • Leg 3: Wander Franco 1+ RBIs (+200)

The Rays and Yankees will begin a series today in the Bronx. It’s a righty vs righty matchup on the mound, with Drew Rasmussen pitching for the Rays and Domingo German pitching for the Yankees.

With two solid pitchers going today, runs should be hard to come by and these teams will grind it out until the ninth inning. These teams are familiar with each other both being in the AL East, and they also just wrapped up a series one week ago.

Each game in the last series between these teams was decided by one run, with one even going to extra innings. Rasmussen pitched against the Yankees in his last start on Saturday, giving up 0 runs in 5.2 innings. I expect him to stay hot and record another quality start here for the Rays on the road.

Look for the Rays to get after German. I especially like Wander Franco to record an RBI and extend his hitting streak to seven games. Anthony Rizzo is red hot and on a hitting streak of his own at 8 games. He will have opportunities to hit today in a plus matchup against Rasmussen.

In the end, I like the Rays to bounce back today after rare back-to-back losses against the Orioles.

Parlay Odds: +550

San Francisco Giants vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

    • Leg 1: Giants Moneyline (-135)
    • Leg 2: Christian Walker 1+ Singles (-130)
    • Leg 3: Mitch Haniger 1+ RBIs (+135)

I also like an SGP Parlay in the late-night game. San Francisco is visiting Arizona for the first of a four game series.

Alex Cobb looks to improve to 3-1 after a strong start to the season for the Giants (2.01 ERA). I like the Giants’ offense to get going against the inexperienced lefty Tommy Henry (12 career starts, 5.31 ERA).

Mitch Haniger draws a plus matchup against the lefty, and I expect him to drive in a run today from the heart of the batting lineup despite his late start to the season due to injury. Christian Walker will have a righty on righty matchup vs. Cobb, but he’s had success against the veteran hurler in his career, going he’s 6-14 with a HR and a 1.244 OPS.

I like Walker to find another base hit against Cobb and bounce back from his 0-7 performance the last 2 games combined. However, I also expect the Giants to start out hot and hang on for the win in the first game of this series in Arizona.

Parlay Odds: +475
