MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (5/25)
Thursday brings a solid MLB slate with some great divisional matchups on tap. Letâs take a look at 3 divisional games that I like along with a solid SGP bet for each one:

St. Louis Cardinals at Cincinnati Reds
- Leg 1: Cardinals Moneyline (-165)
- Leg 2: Lars Nootbar 1+ Singles (-105)
- Leg 3: Nolan Arenado 1+ RBIs (+115)
The Cardinals play at Cincinnati today as they are wrapping up their four-game series this afternoon. The Reds have taken two out of three, including a 10-3 rout yesterday.
On the mound for the Cardinals is ace Miles Mikolas, who has recently been picking up some steam after a slow start to the season. For the Reds, struggling righty Luke Weaver will be on the mound (1-2, 6.54 ERA). Look for the Cardinals to jump on Weaver early and control this game. In particular, I like Lars Nootbar to continue his recent tear and pick up a single in this game. Nootbar already has 5 hits in this series, so I donât see him slowing down today with a plus matchup against the righty Weaver. Nolan Arenado is another guy to watch today. I expect him to have a bounce-back game after heâs been hitless so far in this series. Heâs had success against Weaver in the past (5-10, 2 HR, 5 RBI) and this matchup may be just what he needs to get out of his mini-slump. I have him knocking a run in today and wouldnât be surprised to see him homer for the 3rd time in his career against Weaver.

Baltimore Orioles at New York Yankees
- Leg 1: Orioles Moneyline (+110)
- Leg 2: Cedric Mullins 1+ Singles (-110)
- Leg 3: Adley Rutschman 1+ RBIs (+240)
The Orioles will visit New York to decide the winner of this three-game series. Itâs two right-handers on the mound today, with Kyle Gibson for the Oâs and Clarke Schmidt for the Yankees. The Orioles were able to pick up a win last night after losing 6-5 in 10 innings the night before. Schmidt has been a sore spot for the Yankees rotation all season (2-4, 6.00 ERA), and I donât have much confidence in him figuring it out today against a strong Orioles lineup. Iâm expecting a lot of hits and runs in this game for two of the better lineups in the American League. Two guys that I like to take advantage of a plus matchup against the righty are Cedric Mullins and Adley Rutschman. This 1-2 punch has been giving pitchers trouble all year and they appear to be the foundational pieces for this franchise moving forward. Look for Mullins to get a hit in this one as he continues his great year at the plate. With a lot of runs being scored, Iâm confident in the switch hitter Rutschman to knock someone in today on the way to a Baltimore win in New York.
Parlay Odds: +700
Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays
- Leg 1: Blue Jays Moneyline (+120)
- Leg 2: Daulton Varsho 1+ Singles (+120)
- Leg 3: Under 9.5 Runs Scored (-155)
The Blue Jays will look to split their four-game series with the Rays this afternoon in Tampa. Righty Alek Manoah is on the hill for the Jays vs righty Zach Eflin for the Rays. The Jays have been struggling a bit in the month of May, but I have a feeling theyâre going to turn a corner heading into Memorial Day weekend and find a rhythm in June. In particular, the Jays need Manoah to get back to form if they want to contend in the tough AL East this year. He hasnât been as bad as his stats indicate (1-4, 5.15 ERA) and some of it has been bad luck. Manoah had to be pulled from his last start due to their manager accidentally taking two mound visits in the same inning. I expect Manoah to let off some steam from his past few outings and get back on track vs a very good Rays team. Itâs been the opposite for Rays starter Zach Eflin (6-1, 3.45 ERA) as heâs enjoyed a great start to the year with little stress. However, Eflin has shown recently that heâs gettable, giving up 3+ ER in the past 3 starts. Daulton Varsho has been struggling as well, but with five hits so far in this series, it looks like he may have broken out of his slump. I like the lefty to get a base hit today in a plus matchup and the Jays to put up four or five runs on their way to a low-scoring win behind Manoah.
