MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (5/4)
There are 10 games in the MLB today, with action starting early in the afternoon. As the season continues and the series play out, there are lots of opportunities to look for trends and value in bets. Here are a few same-game parlays for tonightâs MLB slate.
Thursday's Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Boston Red Sox
-
- Leg 1: Over 8.5 Runs Scored (-110)
- Leg 2: Blue Jays Moneyline (-165)
- Leg 3: Daulton Varsho 1+ RBIs (+155)
The Blue Jays and Red Sox are wrapping up their series in Boston today, with Boston vying for the 4-game sweep. Right-hander Kevin Gausman is on the mound for the Blue Jays, while righty Brayan Bello is pitching for the Red Sox. I like betting over 8.5 total runs scored in this one, despite the veteran Gausman being on the mound. Bello has struggled for the Sox, sporting a 6.57 ERA this season. There hasn't been a total in single digits for each game of this series. I expect Daulton Varsho to stay hot against the righty, as heâs had 4 hits and 4 RBIs in this series already. In the end, I like the Blue Jays to bounce back today to avoid the sweep behind their stud Kevin Gausman, but donât be surprised if the bullpens give up some runs on the way to cashing this parlay.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Colorado Rockies
-
- Leg 1: Brewers Moneyline (-145)
- Leg 2: Christian Yelich 1+ Singles (-145)
- Leg 3: Charlie Blackmon 1+ RBIs (+155)
Game 3 of this series takes place in Colorado as the Rockies try to complete the sweep. Wade Miley looks to improve to 4-1 after a strong start to the season for the Brewers. I like the Brewersâ offense to get going against the struggling righty Connor Seabold (0 wins, 5.27 ERA). Christian Yelich draws a plus matchup against the righty, and I expect him to get a base hit today despite a slow start to the season (.227 average). Charlie Blackmon should get several opportunities batting from the leadoff spot, and I like the switch-hitter to knock in another run, as heâs gotten 3 RBIs in the past 2 games. Expect the Brewers to start out hot behind Miley and hang on for the win in this series finale in Colorado.

Los Angeles Angels vs. St. Louis Cardinals
-
- Leg 1: Cardinals Moneyline (-140)
- Leg 2: Lars Nootbar 1+ Total Bases (-170)
- Leg 3: Shohei Ohtani 1+ RBIs (+155)
The Angels will be visiting the Cardinals this afternoon, and they are looking to complete the 3-game sweep behind righty Griffin Canning. Canning has been solid to start the season, as heâs 1-0 with a 4.41 ERA. I believe the Cardinals can get to him today and avoid their sixth straight loss. Jack Flaherty has been up and down this season, but today will be a good opportunity at home to get his third win of the season. Lars Nootbar is struggling in this series, as he went 0-4 yesterday facing the great Shohei Ohtani. I expect him to get a hit or two in this one with a plus matchup against righty Griffin Canning. Speaking of Ohtani, I like him to stay hot at the plate after another 3-hit game last night. Look for Ohtani to knock in a run later on in this game. However, I believe Flaherty will have a strong outing and get it done for the Cards today as they get back in the win column at home.
Parlay Odds: +675
