MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (6/8)
We have a larger-than-expected Thursday slate thanks to two doubleheaders. One from inclement weather and the other from inclement air quality that made Yankee Stadium look like it was on Mars. Let’s take a look at a couple of our favorite same game parlays from today’s games.
Thursday's MLB Best Same Game Parlay Bets

Arizona Diamondbacks at Washington Nationals
- Leg 1: Under 8.5 Total Runs (-105)
- Leg 2: Corbin Carroll 1+ Singles (+120)
- Leg 3: Merrill Kelly 5+ Strikeouts (-130)
The Diamondbacks will face off against the Nationals tonight as they look to sweep this three-game series. Two solid pitchers are on tap in this game, with Merrill Kelly (2.80 ERA) for the D-Backs and Josiah Gray (3.09 ERA) for the Nationals. Look for these pitchers to take over this game, as hits should come at a premium. I expect Kelly to keep the Nationals hitters off balance and cruise to 5 strikeouts, as he’s hit this mark in 4 of his last 5 games.
Corbin Carroll is coming off a monster 4-hit game, and I like him to pick up where he left off yesterday. I expect he will have a busy night at the plate with a plus matchup against the righty Gray. Look for Carroll to have a base hit mixed into this pitcher’s duel in Washington.

Detroit Tigers at Philadelphia Phillies
- Leg 1: Under 8.5 Total Runs (-140)
- Leg 2: Race to 3 Runs – Phillies (-135)
- Leg 3: J.T. Realmuto Over 0.5 RBIs (+160)
After a rainout yesterday, Zack Wheeler will look to stifle a mediocre Detroit Tigers lineup. Wheeler had an ugly performance in his last outing (8 hits, 7 ER), but I expect him to bounce back and make it a point to show up with his best stuff today at home. Overall I think the Phillies pull this one out against an inexperienced pitcher in lefty Tyler Holton. Holton only has 40 career innings pitched and he will be in a hectic environment in Philadelphia tonight. Look for the right-handed J.T. Realmuto to take advantage of the plus matchup against the lefty, and I have him knocking in a run today.
Take the Phillies and Zack Wheeler with confidence in this one coming off an extra day of rest.
