MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (7/27)
Let's take a look at a few SGP Bets on tap for this Thursday.
Thursday's MLB Best Same Game Parlay Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Chicago Cubs at St. Louis Cardinals
- Leg 1: Cardinals Moneyline (-110)
- Leg 2: Nolan Arenado Over 0.5 Singles (+100)
- Leg 3: Ian Happ Over 0.5 Singles (-120)
The Cubs will visit St. Louis to begin a 3-game series against the Cardinals. Game 1 has a solid pitching matchup, with Justin Steele on the hill for the Cubs, and Miles Mikolas throwing for the Cardinals. I don't expect a ton of runs scored in this game, but I do like the Cardinals to win and a couple of hot hitters from each team to get a base hit. I like Nolan Arenado to break out in this series today at the plate with a plus-matchup against the lefty after a day off Wednesday. I expect him to have a hit or two, including a single batting in the heart of this Cardinals lineup. Arenado is batting .273 against lefties this season with an OPS of .866. A hitter I like on the Cubs with a plus matchup is Ian Happ. He is currently on a 5-game hitting streak, as is trying to close out the season strong.
Look for the Cardinals to squeeze out a couple of runs and use their defense to close out this game.
Parlay Odds: +550
Cleveland Guardians at Chicago White Sox
- Leg 1: Guardians Moneyline (+100)
- Leg 2: Jose Ramirez Over 0.5 Singles (+100)
- Leg 3: Josh Naylor Over 0.5 RBIs (+135)
The Guardians will visit Chicago as they look to begin a series against a divisional foe in the White Sox. The pitching matchup will feature two solid righties, with Dylan Cease throwing for the Sox and Tanner Bibee looking to have another strong outing for the Guardians. Bibee has only given up four earned runs in his past 30 innings pitched, as he looks to continue his dominant month of pitching. I believe he will put together a good day to outduel Cease tonight. I like the always-reliable Jose Ramirez to have a single with a plus-matchup against the righty. Ramirez is hitting .323 against right-handed pitchers this season with an OPS of .940. Look for Josh Naylor to continue his incredible season at the plate, where he's batting .313 vs. righties including 62 RBIs. I have him knocking in a run or two today.
I like the Guardians to break through against Cease and win tonight behind Bibee, Ramirez, and Naylor.
Parlay Odds: +500
