MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (8/24)
Let's take a look at a few Same Game Parlay Bets on tap for Thursday.
Thursday's Best MLB Same Game Parlays
Boston Red Sox at Houston Astros
- Leg 1: Red Sox Moneyline (+105)
- Leg 2: Triston Casas Over 0.5 Singles (+135)
- Leg 3: Kyle Tucker Over 0.5 Singles (-115)
The Red Sox will visit Houston in an attempt to split the four-game series against the Astros. The pitching matchup features two right-handed pitchers, with Brayan Bello throwing for the Red Sox and J.P. France on the hill for the Astros. I have the Red Sox taking the fourth game of the series after a big win in extra innings last night. I think Brayan Bello will keep this Astros lineup in check, as he's been able to avoid bad outings all season and come away with quality starts. The Red Sox hit right-handers well, and I like them to continue this despite facing the reliable J.P. France. Look for Triston Casas to have a hit today, as he's had a strong second half of the season and has a plus matchup against the righty. A guy Iâm targeting on the Astros is Kyle Tucker, whoâs been having an incredible season at the plate. Tucker is batting a strong .293 on the season and sits in the heart of the batting order, which gives him plenty of opportunities today. After a 0-4 performance last night, I have Tucker getting back on track with a hit in this game.
I like the Red Sox to pull one out tonight behind their big hitters, and I think Bello does enough to come away from Houston with a split.

Cincinnati Reds at Arizona Diamondbacks
- Leg 1: Reds +1.5 (-155)
- Leg 2: Christian Walker Over 0.5 Singles (+130)
- Leg 3: Spencer Steer Over 0.5 Singles (-115)
The Reds will visit the Diamondbacks as they begin a 4-game series in Arizona. The pitching matchup features the young right-hander Brandon Williamson for the Reds, and lefty Merrill Kelly will be on the mound for the Diamondbacks as he looks to continue his strong season (10-5, 3.13 ERA). Both teams are hot right now, with the Reds winning three straight and the Diamondbacks winning four in a row. I expect the Diamondbacks to have a slight edge based on the pitching matchup, but I think the Reds can get after Kelly a bit today. I like the Reds' solid batting lineup to take advantage of the lefty today. Iâm looking for Spencer Steer to hit the ball hard today, as heâs done all year against left-handed pitching (.317 average, .955 OPS). I also like Christian Walker to break out of his mini-slump (.217 in the past 7 days) and have a base hit today against the righty with the potential for more.
I like the Reds to keep this game close with the potential for a high-scoring game in Arizona.
