MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (9/14)

Let’s look at a few same game parlay bets on tap for another Thursday slate.

Thursday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlays

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. New York Mets

The Diamondbacks will visit New York as they look to split the four-game series against the Mets. The pitching matchup features two solid right-handers in Merrill Kelly for the Dbacks and Kodai Senga throwing for the Mets. Both Pitchers have a winning record and an ERA below 3.20. This should be a great game to watch, but I will be backing the Diamondbacks tonight, coming off back-to-back losses against this Mets team.

I’m going all-in on the Dbacks, starting with Corbin Carroll to record a Single. Shockingly, he’s hitless so far in this series, as he went 0-10 in the first 2 games before getting a day off last night. He’s rested and sits in the heart of the batting order, which gives him plenty of opportunities today. He’s batting .278 against righties this season with an OPS of .918. I like Carroll to start back up a hitting streak today in what seems like a nice discount on him to hit a single. Behind him, I’m going to back Ketel Marte also to hit a single. He’s currently on a four-game hitting streak and typically bats behind Carroll early in the order.

Give me the Diamondbacks to bounce back tonight with some hits from Corbin and Ketel.

New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox

  • Leg 1: Over 9.5 Total Runs Scored (+100)
  • Leg 2: Masataka Yoshida Over 0.5 Singles (-130)
  • Leg 3: Rafael Devers Over 0.5 Singles (-110)

The Yankees will visit the Red Sox for a doubleheader at Fenway as they look to sweep the Red Sox. The pitching matchup features right-handers Michael King for the Yankees and Tanner Houck for the Red Sox. I’m expecting both pitchers to struggle some today, as they’ve been prone to giving up runs this season. This series has been low-scoring through two games, so look for more runs to be scored today.

I’m looking to pair the over with a couple of Red Sox hit props. I like Masataka Yoshida to hit the ball hard today against the righty. Yoshida is batting .299 against righties this season. I also like Rafael Devers to have a base hit today against the righty with the potential for more. He’s batting .272 against righties this year and has been hot recently, as he’s hitting .318 in the past 2 weeks.

I think this can be a shootout in Fenway today, with the Red Sox big hitters showing up in a big way after 2 losses to their rival.

Parlay Odds: +450
