Let's look at a few same game parlay bets on tap for another small Thursday slate.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Miami Marlins

The Dodgers will visit Miami in what could be a potential playoff preview. The pitching matchup features right-hander Ryan Pepiot for the Dodgers and Braxton Garrett throwing for the Marlins. I will be backing the Dodgers tonight, coming off rare back-to-back losses against the Marlins. Pepiot only has 14 innings pitched this season but has looked sharp so far. Garrett is also having a solid season so I wouldn’t expect a lot of runs in this game.

One player I'm targeting on the Dodgers is Mookie Betts, who's been having an incredible season at the plate. Betts is batting .437 in the past three weeks despite being hitless in this series through 2 games. He sits in the heart of the batting order, which gives him plenty of opportunities today. He’s batting .306 against lefties this season with an OPS of 1.129. I like Betts to start back up a hitting streak today. On the other side, I’m going to back Jazz Chisholm to hit a single; he’s too talented of a hitter to pass up at this price. He’s currently on a six-game hitting streak, which includes 11 hits and an average of .407 over that span. In addition, he likes right-handed pitching and has a .289 batting average against righties this season.

Give me the Dodgers tonight with some hits from Mookie and Jazz.

Detroit Tigers vs. New York Yankees

The Tigers will visit the Yankees as they look to avoid the series sweep in New York. The pitching matchup features left-handers Carlos Rodon for the Yankees and Eduardo Rodriguez for the Tigers. I'm expecting Rodon to struggle some today, as he’s been prone to giving up runs this season.

Despite having the Tigers’ moneyline, I'm looking to pair it with a couple of Yankees hit props. I like Aaron Judge to hit the ball hard today against the lefty. Judge is batting .288 against lefties this season with an OPS of 1.108. I also like the young phenom Jasson Dominguez to have a base hit today against the lefty with the potential for more. He’s had a hit in each game since being called up to the big league.

I think the Tigers can squeak one out tonight to avoid the sweep, but the Yankees will have their hits.
