MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (4/16)

There’s plenty of action in the MLB today! With a full 15-game slate and new matchups, there’s much to choose from.

Below, I’ve added my favorite two Same-Game Parlays (SGPs) for tonight’s action.

Monday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Baltimore Orioles @ Minnesota Twins

It’ll be Chris Paddack on the mound for the Twins tonight. Paddack is a right-handed thrower who has only faced 16 lefties to begin the season.

Those 16 lefties have hit a .231 ISO and wOBA of .440, with 6.2% strikeouts and 46.2% fly balls. Paddack has been awful against lefties, but he just hasn’t faced many to begin the year.

Tonight, he’ll have to get through a bunch of really good lefties in the Baltimore lineup. Don’t count on Paddack.

Gunnar Henderson has smashed a .280 ISO and wOBA of .378 since last season. He’s a lefty who will lead things off for the Orioles tonight. Meanwhile, since last year, Ryan O’Hearn has slugged a .189 ISO and wOBA of .354 as a left-handed batter against righties.

Finally, Cedric Mullins has hit a .200 ISO and wOBA of .328 against his last 375 righties faced. He’s another lefty that has been hot at the plate recently.

Just stack up the lefties against Paddack tonight.

Parlay Odds: +527

Colorado Rockies @ Philadelphia Phillies

The Colorado Rockies will pitch left-hander Austin Gomber tonight. Gomber has been effective against lefties. However, he hasn’t had the same results against righties.

Gomber has given up a .229 ISO and wOBA of .384 to 56 righties this season. He’s also allowed 33.3% of line drives to righties and has induced just 36.1% of ground balls with only 21.5% of strikeouts.

It won’t be fun facing some of the right-handed power bats in the Phillies lineup tonight.

J.T. Realmuto has hit a .234 ISO and wOBA of .354 against lefties since last season. Behind him in the batting order will be Alec Bohm, who has hit a .261 ISO and wOBA of .382 against lefties since last season.

Finally, Nick Castellanos will bat after Bohm. Castellanos has slugged a .217 ISO and wOBA of .387 against lefties since last year.

Those three righties will be hitting 4-5-6 in the order. The potential second-inning collapse is looking great for us. After all, Gomber has allowed 50% hard contact to righties and has given up a barrel percentage of 16.7%.

After Philadelphia struggled to find much offense yesterday, they’ll likely break out today with the right-handed bats against Gomber.

I didn’t include Trea Turner in this, but he’s another right-handed bat you can trust against Gomber.

Parlay Odds: +684
