MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (6/27)

We’ve got a full slate of games on the horizon tonight. Many games on the board will be the first of three in their respective series.

I’m targeting a couple of games for same-game parlays, and I feel good about cashing at least one of them!

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies

The Dodgers will take on the Rockies in Coors Field. The right-handed bats in the lineup have a huge advantage against Rockies’ pitcher Connor Seabold.

Seabold has allowed righties to hit a .215 ISO and wOBA of .379 over the season. He’s also allowed righties to hit a .188 ISO and wOBA of .407 over the last 30 days. The right-hander is bad against both sides of the plate, but righties have done more damage recently.

Mookie Betts is hitting a .197 ISO and wOBA of .359 against his last 85 righties faced. He’s also struck out 14.1% of the time in those 85 plate appearances and should ultimately put the ball in play to make things happen.

Meanwhile, Will Smith has slugged a .185 ISO and wOBA of .349 in his last 30 days against righties. He also hit 37.8% of fly balls and line drives last month.

Finally, it’ll be Clayton Kershaw on the mound for the Dodgers. He’s been the only consistent pitcher for Los Angeles this season. Kershaw has struck out 26.4% of batters in the last month and 28.5% throughout the season. He’s earning 31% of strikeouts against righties and will likely face eight righties in the Colorado lineup. Those righties have struck out 24.4% of the time against lefties in the last month.

Parlay Odds: +479

Washington Nationals vs. Seattle Mariners

Bryan Woo will take the hill for the Mariners tonight. Woo has dominated right-handed hitting but has struggled against lefties to begin his career in the majors.

Since being called to the majors, Woo has allowed lefties to hit a .600 ISO and wOBA of .646. He’s thrown against 23 lefties, has walked 13% of batters, and doesn’t have nearly as high of a strikeout percentage as when he faces righties.

Woo has allowed 50% of fly balls and 35.7% of line drives against lefties this season. He’s also giving up 85.7% of hard contact.

Woo’s toughest test will be tonight, knowing he’ll face at least six lefties in tonight’s Washington lineup.

Luis Garcia has hit a .342 wOBA and has struck out only 14.9% of the time against righties in the last month. He’ll put the ball in play multiple times. The same would be said about Jeimer Candelario, who has slugged a .333 ISO and wOBA of .435 against his last 62 righties.

And although CJ Abrams will likely bat in the ninth spot, he’s hit a .196 ISO and wOBA of .322 with only 15.8% of strikeouts against righties in the last month.

All three lefties have great potential against Woo, who has been awful against lefties since pitching in the majors.

Parlay Odds: +625
