Houston Astros at Miami Marlins

The Miami Marlins will pitch Johnny Cueto to begin tonight’s game against the Astros. Cueto has allowed a .237 ISO throughout the season. He’s also allowed more fly balls than ground balls induced this year.

The right-hander has watched his last 45 righties hit a .268 ISO and wOBA of .318. He’s also earned just 22.2% of strikeouts against righties in the previous 30 days.

Meanwhile, the Astros have been scorching hot against righties over the last 30 days. Jose Altuve has slugged a .188 ISO and wOBA of .451 against his last 53 righties.

Alex Bregman has hit a .259 ISO and wOBA of .502 against his last 72 righties.

Finally, Yanier Diaz has knocked a .347 ISO and wOBA of .441 against his last 53 righties. These three righties have destroyed other righties in the previous month. None of these batters have struck out more than 17% of the time against righties. Take them to do damage off of Cueto tonight.

Parlay Odds: +695

Pittsburgh Pirates at New York Mets

David Peterson will take the start for the Mets tonight. He’s a left-hander, giving up a .161 ISO and wOBA of .357 to his last 37 righties faced.

This season, he’s allowed a .160 ISO and wOBA of .362 to 224 righties.

The only reliable righty in the Pirates lineup is Ke’Bryan Hayes. He’s slugged a .357 ISO and wOBA of .426 against his last 15 lefties. He’s also struck out under 7% of the time against lefties in the previous month.

On the other hand, Bailey Falter of the Pirates will get the call. He’s another lefty whom the Mets are familiar with from his Philadelphia days.

Falter has allowed a .199 ISO and wOBA of .377 to 213 batters this season.

The two powerful bats in the Mets’ lineup include Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso. Lindor has hit a .313 wOBA and has only struck out 12.9% of the time. He’ll put the ball in play against Falter.

Meanwhile, Pete Alonso has slugged a .458 ISO and wOBA of .472 against his last 27 lefties. Alonso, like Lindor, has struck out under 15% of the time against lefties in the previous 30 days.

Furthermore, Falter has allowed over 48% of hard contact and 29% of line drives in the last 30 days. He’s also earned just 9.4% of swinging strikes.

Alonso and Lindor should put solid contact on Falter’s pitches tonight.

Parlay Odds: +772
