MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (9/26)

We’ve got another 16-game MLB slate on the horizon today!

The Dodgers and Rockies are playing a doubleheader! Those two games don’t have much playoff implications, except that the Dodgers would love to try to earn first place in the NL standings.

Meanwhile, a few games on the slate have massive implications, including the Mariners and Astros game. I’ve got a same-game parlay for that game and another critical matchup on the slate.

Let’s earn some profit before the MLB Playoffs!

Chicago White Sox vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks need to win. If the Diamondbacks don’t lose another game in the regular season, they’ll be locked into the No. 2 spot in the NL Wild Card. Lucky for them, they’ve got a fantastic matchup tonight.

Jose Urena will take the hill for the White Sox. The right-hander has allowed a .444 ISO and wOBA of .422 to his last 24 righties. This season, he’s allowed a .446 ISO and wOBA of .441 to 68 righties. Against righties, Urena has only struck out 16.2% of batters and has allowed 38.3% of fly balls.

Meanwhile, Lourdes Gurriel, a righty, has hit a .228 ISO and wOBA of .340 against his last 63 righties. He’s also struck out just 22.2% of the time.

Tommy Pham is batting third in the Arizona lineup, hitting a .254 ISO and wOBA of .383 against his last 69 righties.

Gabriel Moreno will catch. He’s hit a .225 ISO and wOBA of .437 against his last 49 righties.

All three of those righties have great matchups against Urena. They’ve consistently hit righties over the last month, and Urena has allowed a ton of power from righties throughout the season.

Parlay Odds: +550

Houston Astros vs. Seattle Mariners

Cristian Javier will take the mound for the Astros tonight. The right-hander has given up a .226 ISO and wOBA of .341 over the last month. He was much better in his previous start. But as a whole, he’s struggled.

Javier will earn plenty of strikeouts. But he’ll be a boom-or-bust candidate. He’ll either earn strikeouts or give up power. Lefties have hit a .227 ISO and wOBA of .375 against Javier over the last month.

J.P. Crawford is a lefty, hitting a .271 ISO and a wOBA of .335 against his last 77 righties. Cal Raleigh is a switch-hitter who will also bat lefty against Javier. He’s smacked a .212 ISO and wOBA of .338 against his last 73 righties.

Meanwhile, George Kirby is set to make another start for the Mariners tonight. The right-handed pitcher has been awful against righties over the last month.

The Astros’ lineup has hit righties well, but Jose Altuve stands out the most. Altuve has smacked a .351 ISO and wOBA of .454 with only 17.1% of strikeouts against righties in the last 30 days.

Kirby has given up a .405 ISO and wOBA of .504 to his last 47 righties. That’s a solid sample size and some deflating stats. He’s allowed more fly balls than ground balls induced over the previous month.

Parlay Odds: +625
