Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Miami Marlins

Clayton Kershaw will take the mound for the Dodgers tonight. He’s struck out 27% of batters this season but only has 23.1% of strikeouts over the last 30 days. That’s not very appealing. However, the Marlins’ projected lineup has struck out 22.2% of the time against lefties in the last 30 days. That lineup has five batters striking out at least 22.7% of the time in the previous month. The Marlins have also hit a .135 ISO and woBA of .258 against lefties in the last 30 days. Kershaw should stretch his start out and pitch deeper in the game while putting up zeros.

On the other hand, Jesus Luzardo will look to match him for the Marlins. However, he’s allowed a .253 ISO and woBA of .368 to his last 82 batters. It’ll be difficult for him to match Kershaw with those numbers.

Mookie Betts has hit a .462 ISO and wOBA of .573 against his last 29 lefties, while Freddie Freeman has slugged a .226 ISO and wOBA of .404 against his last 34 lefties.

Colorado Rockies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Kyle Freeland will get the start for the Rockies tonight. The left-hander has allowed a .322 ISO and wOBA of .439 to his last 95 righties. This season, he’s given up a .245 ISO and wOBA of .393 to 473 righties. He’s poorly struggled against righties all year long.

Meanwhile, Christian Walker has slugged a .500 ISO and wOBA of .523 against his last 37 lefties. He’s live for an extra-base hit or two against Freeland.

On the other hand, Brandon Pfaadt will get the call for the Diamondbacks. The rookie right-hander has had success in the big leagues. However, he’s allowed a .271 ISO and wOBA of 361 to his last 52 lefties.

Charlie Blackmon has smacked a .184 ISO and wOBA of .420 against his last 59 righties. Meanwhile, Nolan Jones, another lefty, has hit a .317 ISO and wOBA of .411 against his last 70 righties.

The Rockies are boom-or-bust offensively. They’re either going to hit for power or strikeout. Pfaadt has earned just 15.4% of strikeouts against lefties over the last month. We’ll likely get more power from those Colorado lefties tonight.

Parlay Odds: +848
