Philadelphia Phillies vs. Miami Marlins
- Leg 1: Brian Anderson 2+ Total Bases (+130)
- Leg 2: Nick Fortes 2+ Total Bases (+300)
- Leg 3: Bryan De La Cruz 1+ Hit (-150)
Call me crazy. But I like the Marlins to hit today. Bailey Falter is on the mound for the Phillies. He has a 4.53 xFIP over the last 30 days with under 20% of strikeouts against batters faced over that same period.
Falter has given up 24.3% of line drives when balls are batted into play and rarely gets ground balls, inducing just over 35%.
The left-hander has been much worse against right-handed batters, and the Marlins figure to have a full right-handed lineup of bats with potential.
Brian Anderson is currently hitting a .286 ISO against lefties, while Nick Fortes is hitting a .273 ISO with a wOBA of .390. Bryan De La Cruz might be hitting towards the bottom of the lineup, but heâs already hit a line drive in his last five plate appearances against lefties.
Ride the Marlins on the offensive side of things today.

Kansas City Royals vs. Minnesota Twins
- Leg 1: Carlos Correa 2+ Total Bases (-110)
- Leg 2: Gio Urshela 2+ Total Bases (-105)
- Leg 3: Gary Sanchez 1+ Hit (-150)
Kris Bubic will take the mound for the Royals tonight. The left-hander has struggled in the last 30 days, owning a 5.75 xFIP. Heâs allowed over 34% of line drives when balls are batted into play and is inducing just 33% of ground balls. Heâs giving up more line drives than ground balls over the last 30 days when balls are hit into play.
The left-hander will face a bunch of right-handed hitters in the Minnesota lineup. Against righties, heâs allowing a .380 wOBA over the last 98 plate appearances.
The Twinsâ middle portion of their order should do plenty of damage. Carlos Correa is already hitting a .320 ISO with a wOBA of .412 against leftie over his last 32 plate appearances. Meanwhile, Gio Urshela is hitting a .194 ISO with 33.3% of line drives against lefties through his previous 32 plate appearances.
Gary Sanchez has a .222 ISO with a wOBA of .387 against lefties through his last 21 plate appearances. If he ends up not playing, you can swap Jose Miranda in there, who is hitting a .188 ISO in his previous month against lefties.
Ride the Twins against Bubic!

Chicago White Sox vs. Oakland Athletics
- Leg 1: Jose Abreu 1+ Hit (-230)
- Leg 2: Eloy Jimenez 2+ Total Bases (+105)
- Leg 3: Gavin Sheets 2+ Total Bases (+115)
The White Sox will look to capitalize against Chad Kuhl in tonightâs game. Kuhl has been all over the place recently. He has a 4.53 xFIP while allowing 25% of line drives when balls are batted into play. Heâs only inducing 30% of grounders while giving up 57.5% of hard contact when balls are hit into play.
Lefties have an IOS of .323 in their last 33 plate appearances against Kuhl. Meanwhile, righties are hitting a .528 wOBA and ISO of .360 in their previous 28 plate appearances.
On the other hand, Jose Abreu of the White Sox is hitting a .368 wOBA with 25% of line drives against righties over the last month. Next, Eloy Jimenez has a .231 ISO and wOBA of .420 with a low strikeout rate in the previous 30 0days.
Finally, Gavin Sheets, a lefty, has a .215 ISO against righties with a .355 wOBA over his last 72 plate appearances against righties.
Back the White Sox to do some damage against Kuhl tonight.
