Wednesday's MLB Best Same Game Parlay Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Texas Rangers at Detroit Tigers

We can take a little different approach simply because I think it offers incredible value. Tarik Skubal is scheduled to start for the Tigers, and he has been awesome. He owns a 2.08 ERA through three games with two shutouts. Behind him is the best bullpen ERA with Detroit's 1.48 ERA. Dane Dunning has been solid but not unstoppable, allowing three runs and at least one long ball in each of his starts. Detroit's offense is capable and I simply don't see Texas producing many hits in this one. The one exception is Corey Seager. The Rangers’ middle infielder is 2-for-3 off Skubal and is a player I trust to produce a hit or two, to get to those multiple bases. His addition to this SGP gives us solid value at +700.

Parlay Odds: +700

Los Angeles Angels at Tampa Bay Rays

Let's get a little weird, shall we? After hyping up the Tigers’ bullpen, I must give a shoutout the other way to the worst bullpen in the league, which belongs to the Tampa Bay Rays. Sitting with a 6.27 ERA, this team has large implosion possibilities after what should be a solid outing from the two starters in this one. Brandon Drury and Amed Rosario are simply playing the odds with history against the starters, and hoping they can manage another hit against either respective bullpen. The fact that we can combine three plus odds lines into an SGP with this much value is tantalizing. You look at the ERA of the starters and the average of Drury and Rosario and question it, but diving deep into matchups and this is an easy bet.

Parlay Odds: +2000

Atlanta Braves at Houston Astros

Looking at how these pitchers have pitched so far this season, you may call me crazy to take any Unders, especially for a lineup like the Astros. However, Max Fried is bound to bounce back from his troublesome start and today is a great time to do it. He's excelled in the past in day games and he's had a sub-3.00 ERA in three of his last four years with the one year that he didn't, finishing at 3.04. The Braves will win this one easily and it will be because of Matt Olson being a big player. J.P. France has truly struggled this year against lefties and Olson has continued slugging well against righties. Expect him to have a good game, Fried to show up with his bullpen backing him, and the Braves to win easily.

Parlay Odds: +450
