MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (4/2)

We're back. After the MLB Tokyo Series kicked things off, we got the ball rolling with the remaining MLB teams playing over the last week. I'll be here weekly with my favorite same-game parlay (SGP) picks of the day. Last year was a decent season, finishing slightly above the money for the year.

Remember, SGPs are high-risk, high-reward, so you aren't going to hit them frequently. When you do, though, it's an incredible feeling. I'll come at you with multiple legs, but remember to shop around. Sportsbooks offer different odds for any given SGP as well as different boosts. They love it when you bet them, so you might as well take advantage of whatever boosted odds they offer.

I missed both Tokyo Series SGPs last week by a single leg, so let's get us a winner today.

Wednesday's MLB Best Same Game Parlay Bets

Season: 0-2 (-2.0 units) | Last Time: 0-2 | Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook

Kansas City Royals at Milwaukee Brewers

We’re banking on a pitcher’s duel with Christian Yelich having a fine game thrown in there as a bit of a metaphorical curveball. There isn't a current player on the Brewers roster who has gotten a hit off Cole Ragans, with the six active players who have faced him going 0-for-11.

Ragans pitched better on the road last season with a 2.87 ERA. He also performs better in day games. Freddy Peralta should manage after a solid first time out, and the Brewers’ bullpen is either awful or due for some major positive regression; my bet is on the latter.

Yelich and Ragans both have reverse splits where Yelich should manage a hit or two off the southpaw but doesn't have his usual power that might disrupt the under legs for the SGP.

Parlay Odds: +575

Washington Nationals at Toronto Blue Jays

Despite these odds running longer, I'm way more confident about this SGP than the first one. Both Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Davis Schneider have pummeled MacKenzie Gore in the minimal at-bats they've had against the southpaw, each homering off him with a 2.000 OPS for Schneider and 1.800 for Guerrero. Again, small sample size, but promising for hitters who perform much better at home against a pitcher who had unfavorable road splits.

Like the Brewers, the Nationals have a terrible bullpen, but this one I have less hope for with fewer strikeouts, more walks and an 11.20 ERA over their 13.2 innings so far. If you want, just bet different types of overs for the game instead of specific player props because who knows what to expect out of Easton Lucas, but the value lies in those specific matchups.

Parlay Odds: +700
