Chicago White Sox at Minnesota Twins
- Leg 1: Twins -1.5 (+120)
- Leg 2: Joe Ryan 7+ strikeouts (-130)
- Leg 3: Andrew Benintendi 2+ hits (+300)
If you have faded the Chicago White Sox all season, then you can probably retire, but it still is a generally solid bet moving forward. They fell apart yesterday, allowing a comeback win in the ninth inning, and I imagine that will be deflating. Ryan has been solid so far and handles business with two different games recording seven or more strikeouts, considering the White Soxâs remarkably bad offense and swing rate. It's a bit juiced but I still see it as a value. The risk I'm taking here is an Andrew Benintendi bounce-back game. After getting a massive contract last year the White Sox outfielder has disappointed in the early going of 2024. However, he has raked against Ryan, going 5-for-11 in his career against the Twins starter. Adding a +300 prop to this SGP makes it a high-risk, high-reward bet that I love. Alternatively, just take an alt-Twins line if you don't believe in Benintendi.

Houston Astros at Chicago Cubs
- Leg 1: Astros ML (-105)
- Leg 2: Yordan Alvarez 2+ total bases (+110)
- Leg 2: Kyle Tucker 2+ total bases (+140)
This isn't as risky as SGP's go, but is a solid fade spot on the other Chicago team in the north side. Jameson Taillon's first outing was solid, and seeing a 1.80 ERA next to his name may scare some betters away. He's due for regression. The former second-overall pick is coming off a 4.84 ERA season where he allowed a career-high 27 long balls. It's windy today in Chicago, and the sun is expected to come out by game time, so there may be some homers today. Among the candidates are Kyle Tucker and Yordan Alvarez. Both players have already homered in the past off Taillon and have seen the Cubs pitcher well. Combine their offense with some Cubs regression, and I expect the Astros to take it on the back of some solid offense. You're welcome to substitute total bases for a home run by Alvarez, but his odds are never quite favorable in that department.
