MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (4/5)

Lots of day games on the schedule today, so make sure you get your bets in early to account for this. Stolen bases and offense are up, in general, are up thus far to begin the season, and I expect this to continue.

Wednesday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlays

All lines posted below come from DraftKings Sportsbook.

Atlanta Braves at St. Louis Cardinals

Leg 1: Atlanta Braves ML (+105)

The Braves are sending Bryce Elder for the mound, and as a result, they are underdogs in this game. The Braves have one of the most powerful offenses in the league and face a contact-oriented pitcher in Miles Mikolas. Their offense is talented enough to carry them to the win.

Leg 2: Matt Olson to Homer (+370)

Going along with the idea in the first part of this bet, Olsn is the best power hitter in a powerful lineup and has the platoon advantage in this one. He can lift the ball as well as anyone in the game, and his swing-and-miss downside is limited against a pitcher like Mikolas.

Leg 3: Over 9.5 Total Runs (+115)

Mikolas is an average pitcher skill-wise, and Elder is likely slightly below average, and they are facing two of the best offenses in the game. There should be tons of runs scored in this one.

Total: +900

New York Mets at Milwaukee Brewers

Leg 1: New York Mets ML (+110)

The Mets have gotten crushed the last two games and are sending David Peterson out there to hopefully right the ship. They are tasked with defeating the Brewers’ ace in Corbin Burnes, who struggled in his first appearance. I think the Mets’ offense can make it two for two rough appearances for Burnes.

Leg 2: Jeff McNeil 2+ Hits (+210)

McNeil has struggled a bit to open the year, but he is still one of the best bat-to-ball players in the game. If the Mets’ offense is going to make like tough for Burnes, McNeil will find himself at the center of it.

Leg 3: Corbin Burnes 5+ Hits Allowed (-120)

This is a correlation play with the McNeil hit bet and the fact that I like the Mets to win. Burnes is one of the best pitchers in baseball, but the Mets’ offense has enough talent up top to get to the Brewers’ right-hander enough for this leg to hit.

Total: +525

Minnesota Twins at Miami Marlins

Leg 1: Under 7.5 Runs (-135)

This is a bet both in favor of the pitchers and against the offenses. Pablo Lopez and Jesus Luzardo both were excellent in their first starts of the season, and the Marlins have struggled to score mightily to begin the season. The Twins’ offense is powerful and has a ton of upside but is very left-handed heavy.

Leg 2: Jesus Luzardo 8+ Strikeouts (+170)

Luzardo was fantastic in his first start of the season, although he did struggle with walks. He only had five strikeouts in the first outing, but the stuff is electric. The Twins’ offense has limited at-bats against lefties thus far in the season, but they have a middle-of-the-road K-rate against them thus far.

Leg 3: Pablo Lopez 7+ Strikeouts (-125)

The Marlins offense has been downright awful to begin the season. They have a K% over 30% thus far in the season, and Lopez had eight strikeouts in his first appearance. I believe he pulls it off again and posts elite K numbers against a punchless Marlins offense.

Total: +475
