Atlanta Braves @ Seattle Mariners

It isn’t the most exciting idea to fade a team like the Braves, but the Mariners have been on a tear lately, going 11-3 in their last 14 games. Their starters have been electric, allowing 18 total runs over their last 18 starts. That’s insane!

Looking at Emerson Hancock’s stats, a 5.06 ERA isn’t great, but a lot of those runs came in one start. His past three starts have all been quality outings with a 2.00 ERA.

For Jorge Polanco, he’s one of the few Mariners who has seen a lot of Chris Sale and can hit him. The Braves relievers are hittable, so I can see Polanco managing a couple of bases or more here.

Speaking of relievers, the Mariners’ bullpen leads MLB with a 2.42 ERA. Combine that with how great Seattle’s starters have been, and we have your Same-Game Parlay built.

Parlay Odds: +475

Philadelphia Phillies @ Los Angeles Angels

The vibes are not great in Los Angeles, and everything is going against them here. Patrick Sandoval owns a 6.33 ERA on the season, with opponents batting .306 against him so far.

Alec Bohm has gone 2-for-2 against Sandoval in his only plate appearances, and good offenses seem to rough up Sandoval, with righties hitting well off him. Bohm himself has raked lefties this year, batting .371 with a 1.107 OPS. The Phillies should go off today, and now that Mike Trout is out, I’m unsure where any of the offense comes from for the Angels.

Zack Wheeler has been wheeling and dealing this year. Pun aside, the Phillies starter hasn’t allowed a run in either of his last two starts, with only one hit allowed in each. Philadelphia could shut out Los Angeles in an absolute route if you want to get risky here in this one.
