MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (9/27)

The MLB regular season is nearing the end, but there are still some great bets to be made tonight with same game parlays!

Wednesday’s Best Same Game Parlay Picks

Cincinnati Reds at Cleveland Guardians

Reds ML (+105) and o4.5 Runs (+145)

In his first start back from the IL, Shane Bieber gave up four runs across five innings; in his last few starts before the injury, he gave up four or more runs in four of the last five. The Reds are still in a fantastic position to make a playoff push and their young bats have been picking it up a bit lately. Andrew Abbott is starting for the Reds and the lefty has some solid numbers to begin his MLB career. He allows a few too many walks but he makes up for it with an above-average strikeout total. The Guardians are one of the league’s worst offenses against left-handers and he should have no issues holding them back.

Elly De La Cruz 2+ TBs (+165)

Elly has not quite lived up to the hype, however he has game-changing speed and power upside. With that potential, this number feels like it’s far too high and something he should hit more than expected.

Combined Odds: +450

Chicago Cubs at Atlanta Braves

Cubs ML (+130) o5.5 Runs (+145)

The Cubs’ offense has been one of the league’s best over the last two weeks with a 124 value good for third in the league in that span. Darius Vines has made one start at the MLB level, but his minor league track record indicates that he is a low-strikeout arm with a few more walks than expected. This type of pitch-to-contact arm is one that the Cubs should be able to do a ton of damage against. Jameson Taillon has struggled mightily this season, giving up way too many home runs. He has a tough matchup versus the Braves, who lead the league in homers, but we are betting that the Cubs’ offense is able to out-duel the Braves.

Christopher Morel 2+ TBs (+130)

Morel’s issue is strictly making contact, as when he does, he tends to do a ton of damage. He is facing a pitch-to-contact arm which aligns well for him in this matchup. I like his chances to help the Cubs’ offense hit their team total.

Combined Odds: +450

Pittsburgh Pirates at Philadelphia Phillies

Pirates ML (+105) and o4.5 Runs (+135)

Let’s bet on the hangover game narrative. The Phillies clinched a playoff spot last night and as a result, should likely be resting many of their key starters. Ranger Suarez has pitched similarly to how he has his entire career, with just enough Ks and a few too many walks. However, he has had some homer issues in his last handfuls of starts and while the Pirates do not have a ton of elite power, they have enough hitters who can do damage. Johan Oviedo has shown flashes this season and while he is not elite by any means, he is serviceable enough to take advantage of a limited Phillies offense.

Connor Joe 2+ TBs (+165)

Joe has a 117 wRC+ versus left-handed pitchers this season, as well as a 0.190 ISO against them. He does not have incredible home run power, but he is a solid extra-base hit producer and should be able to hit the over.

Combined Odds: +425
