St. Louis Cardinals at New York Yankees
- Leg 1: Over 9.5 Total Runs (-118)
- Leg 2: Will Warren Over 2.5 Earned Runs (+100)
- Leg 3: Aaron Judge 2+ Total Bases (-120)
The Yankees continue to hold a tiny lead in the American League East and this should be an exciting race down to the last day. Their schedule is easy on paper as they will face a few under .500 teams. Just because they are bad teams doesn't mean they'll roll over; ask the Nationals, as they took two of three against New York earlier this week.
The pitching has been aggravating as they are 25th in ERA since June 15 (4.77). Will Warren is one of those examples; although he's had some favorable matchups, he allowed eight runs to the Angels and six to the Rockies.
The Cardinals should fall into that category as the offense is 24th in runs allowed per game (4.10) Their games are still meaningful as they are only six games out of a Wild Card spot, but they have a couple of teams to climb, including their division rival Cubs.
Aside from Sonny Gray, the rotation has been unreliable. That includes Kyle Gibson, who's coming off allowing seven earned to the Reds and two starts prior allowed six earned to the Reds.
Although the Yankees are highly favored, the pitching matchup doesn't help them and this could be a high-scoring game.

Boston Red Sox at Detroit Tigers
- Leg 1: Under 7.5 Total Runs (-105)
- Leg 2: Tigers Moneyline (-166)
- Leg 3: Tarik Skubal Under 1.5 Runs (-135)
The Red Sox are knocking on the door of a playoff spot. They are only three games out of a Wild Card spot and are coming in having won three of the last four. The offense has gotten much better, and they are second in slugging (.462) and fourth in batting average (.268).
This will not be the same Detroit team Nick Pivetta saw where he allowed two earned in 5.1 innings. He's showing the inconsistency that has plagued him throughout his career. After having four quality starts in July, he has yet to pitch in the sixth inning this month.
Despite being sellers at the trade deadline, the Tigers still have a legitimate shot at the playoffs. They have been fantastic in the second half of the season and are 30-21 since July 1 with a +37 run differential.
Tarik Skubal has the American League Cy Young locked down. He's been helping this team every time he hits the mound, and the Tigers have won six of his last seven starts.
