New York Yankees at Oakland Athletics

  • Leg 1: Yankees -1.5 (-105)
  • Leg 2: Under 8.5 Runs (-115)
  • Leg 3: Yankees Over 4.5 Runs (-130)

The Yankees have clinched a playoff spot and are in a good position to win the American League East. This west coast trip has gone well, as they are 4-1 and have won eight of their last 11. The pitching has looked better in recent weeks, with a 2.22 ERA in their last nine games, but the offenses they have faced haven't been the best.

Luis Gil had a rough stretch, but he's regrouped this month. Over his last three starts, the Yankees are 3-0, and he has a 1.13 ERA in that span.

Gil has been beating the bad teams, and that's what the Athletics are. This is the final weekend series before the team leaves town, and it's getting sentimental for the team and the city of Oakland.

The pitching has been awful, as they've allowed 40 runs in their last seven games. Joey Estes has contributed to that and is coming off pitching one inning and allowing six earned runs to the Cubs.

Colorado Rockies at Los Angeles Dodgers

  • Leg 1: Dodgers -1.5 (-155)
  • Leg 2: Under 8.5 Runs (-115)
  • Leg 3: Dodgers -1.5 First Five Innings (-110)

The final week approaches, and while the Dodgers are in an excellent position to win the National League West, nothing is clinched. That's because the Padres and Diamondbacks are playing just as well and have kept the race interesting throughout the second half. Los Angeles' offense has been hot, specifically Shoes Ohtani, as he became the first player to have 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a season and did it during a 6-for-6 performance with three home runs and ten RBI.

The pitching is a whole other deal. Over their last 13 games, they have a 4.50 ERA, which is 23rd in that span. Yoshinobu Yamamoto has come back from a three-month IL stint and looks great in the two starts, with eight scoreless innings and 11 strikeouts.

The Rockies will finish under .500 for the sixth straight year and potentially have 100 losses in back-to-back years. The pitching has been brutal, and they'll be last in ERA (5.49). Some of that is because of the Mile High Effect, but they have a worse road ERA.

It's been a rough couple of years for Antonio Senzatala. This is only his fourth start in the last two years, and he's dealt with multiple injuries during that span.
