I’m eying two games for our same-game parlays tonight. My goal is always to attack below-average pitchers who have been struggling over the last 30 days.

Tuesday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuelFanDuel Sportsbook)

Colorado Rockies vs. Detroit Tigers

While the Tigers aren’t facing the Rockies in Colorado, they still have a great matchup against Rockies’ pitcher Bradley Blalock. Blalock is a right-handed pitcher who has allowed a .203 ISO and wOBA of .365 to his last 71 lefties. He’s also struck out just 14.1% of lefties in that time and has allowed 46.3% of hard contact.

Additionally, he’s allowed more fly balls and line drives than ground balls induced and has earned just 10.4% of swinging strikes over the last month.

Meanwhile, the Tigers have a few lefties hitting consistently against righties. Riley Greene has launched a .204 ISO and wOBA of .377 against his last 58 righties. Behind him is Kerry Carpenter, who has also slugged a .302 ISO and wOBA of .428 against his last 70 righties.

Finally, Zach McKinstry has added a .160 ISO and wOBA of .434. Even better, he’s struck out only 15.1% of the time against righties. He’ll likely put the ball in play against Blalock and earn at least one hit.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Boston Red Sox

The Baltimore Orioles are set to throw Albert Suarez tonight. He’s a right-handed pitcher who can’t seem to get lefties out right now. Instead, he’s allowed a .176 ISO and wOBA of .390 to his last 55 lefties. Those same 55 lefties have struck out only 14.5% of the time and have hit 34.9% of fly balls with only 32.6% of ground balls induced.

Meanwhile, Boston has some lefties that have been consistent recently. Jarren Duran leads off and has hit a .358 ISO and wOBA of .464 against his last 76 righties.

Wilyer Abreu has smoked a .242 ISO and wOBA of .365 and figures to be batting third in tonight’s game.

Lastly, let’s go with Masataka Yoshida to earn at least two total bases. He’s added a .167 ISO and woBA of .389 with only 13.6% of strikeouts against righties over the last month.

Boston’s lineup has hit lots of hard contact against righties over the last month, too. For example, Duran, Abreu, and Yoshida have all hit above 50% hard contact. All three of these batters have also hit at least a .341 BABIP, meaning if the ball is in play, they’re earning hits more than 34% of the time each.

With Suarez’s low strikeout rate, the Red Sox lefties are more likely to hit plenty of balls in play. Let’s fade Suarez and ride the Boston lefties.
