MLB Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Tuesday (Diamondbacks vs. Phillies)

We’ve got one World Series team ready to go for Friday after the Texas Rangers earned a massive win over the Houston Astros on the road in Game 7 of the ALCS.

The other World Series team will clinch after tonight’s Game 7 in the NLCS.

Both teams will send out their No. 3 starters, who haven’t thrown more than 70 pitches in a single start in the postseason. Things are about to get interesting.

Here are some same-game parlays for tonight’s NLCS Game 7 between the Philadelphia Phillies and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Tuesday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Arizona Diamondbacks at Philadelphia Phillies

  • Leg 1: Trea Turner Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
  • Leg 2: Nick Castellanos Over 1.5 Total Bases  (+125)
  • Leg 3: Brandon Pfaadt Over 4.5 Ks (-140)

We’ll start with the Philadelphia offense.

The Phillies will take on Brandon Pfaadt of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Pfaadt is a rookie pitcher who has excelled in the postseason. He pitched poorly at the beginning of the season but has since developed and matured in the second half and postseason.

Pfaadt had a 3-9 record with a 5.72 ERA this season. However, in the playoffs, he’s got a 2.13 ERA in 12.2 innings pitched. The rookie right-hander has struck out 15 batters in 12.2 innings.

He’ll earn strikeouts against the Phillies. He had nine in 5.2 innings in Game 3 of the NLCS. The Phillies have five batters striking out at least 22.9% of the time against righties. So we’ll take him to get at least five strikeouts.

On the other hand, Pfaadt has still allowed a .159 ISO and wOBA of .305 to his last 44 righties. He’s given up 40% of fly balls and 30% of line drives while inducing 30% of ground balls over the previous month against righties.

Trea Turner has hit a .417 ISO and wOBA of .520, while J.T. Realmuto, another righty, has hit a .391 ISO and wOBA of .354 against his last 51 righties.

Parlay Odds: +1037

Arizona Diamondbacks at Philadelphia Phillies

  • Leg 1: Ranger Suarez Under 3.5 Ks (-164)
  • Leg 2: Christian Walker Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)
  • Leg 3: Ketel Marte Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)

On the other hand, it’ll be Ranger Suarez getting the ball for the Phillies. Suarez is a left-handed pitcher, earning only 22.7% of strikeouts in the last month.

He struck out seven Diamondbacks players in Game 3 of the series while allowing just three hits and no earned runs. However, he’s still facing an Arizona group that has struck out only 17.7% of the time against lefties over the last 30 days. The Diamondbacks only have two batters striking out more than 21% of the time against lefties.

Therefore, I’ll start with Suarez’s under for strikeouts.

While Suarez has been dominant against righties, this season, he allowed a .330 wOBA with 26.5% of line drives hit to righties. Christian Walker and Ketel Marte will both bat from the right side. Walker has slugged a .444 ISO and wOBA of .450, while Marte has knocked a .200 ISO and a wOBA of .410 in their last month against righties.

Parlay Odds: +584
