Friday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlays

Los Angeles Angels at Kansas City Royals

Leg 1: Royals ML (+125)
Leg 2: Royals o4.5 Runs (+120)

Singer has been terrible in 2023, but outside of a few additional walks, the numbers don’t look all that different from his 2022 season. The ERA estimators see him as a much better pitcher in the mid-four range as opposed to the over-six he actually has. The Angels have a great offense with a 110 wRC+, but they had some injuries to Gio Urshela, Zach Neto, and Anthony Rendon over the last couple of days. This should be a nice spot for Singer to begin his bounce back. The Royals have a below-average offense against lefties and recently lost Vinny P, but Patrick Sandoval has struggled a bit in 2023, especially in his last two appearances. Sandoval is someone who can get himself into trouble with poor command making this a good matchup for the Royals’ offense.

Leg 3: Matt Duffy 2+ TBs (+145)

Matt Duffy may feel like an unconventional choice for this bet, but Duffy has a 130 wRC+ against lefties this season. He has shown a bit of a power jump, and he should be able to find the grass for extra bases in this one.

Combined Odds: +1113

Philadelphia Phillies at Oakland Athletics

Leg 1: Athletics ML (+115)
Leg 2: Athletics o4.5 Runs (+155)

The Athletics are quietly one of the hottest teams in baseball, with wins in seven of their last eight games. While their offense is not a world-beater by any means, they have quietly been above average by wRC+ in the last two weeks. JP Sears has also been excellent on the mound, and the Phillies are still one of the worst offenses against lefties. He has not allowed more than two earned runs in his last six outings, and he should keep this going again today. While their offense is not elite, the Athletics should be able to do enough damage in this one to eclipse the 4.5 runs barrier.

Leg 3: Ryan Noda 2+ TBs (+170)

The pricing on this one is way off, as Noda has been one of the Athletics’ best hitters. He has a 149 wRC+ on the season with a 0.189 ISO. Most hitters in that range of wRC+ have TB props much closer to +100.

Combined Odds: +1380

Cleveland Guardians at Arizona Diamondbacks

Leg 1: Guardians ML (+125)
Leg 2: Guardians o4.5 Runs (+140)

Arizona has continued to be one of the best stories in baseball, driven by a great offense and strong pitching led by Zac Gallen. We are betting against both of those things in today’s matchup with Cleveland. Gallen has been excellent in 2023, but he has had a few blow-up outings, and the Diamondbacks bullpen has been middle of the road. Cleveland has a top-10 offense by wRC+ in the last two weeks, and they should be able to keep it rolling in this one. Triston McKenzie had one excellent start and one rough one during his two games back from injury. He struggled against a strong offense and has to face another one today, but he is talented enough that he should have no issues keeping the Diamondbacks’ offense off the board in this one.

Leg 3: Josh Naylor 2+ TBs (+115)

Naylor has had an up-and-down season, but he is still arguably the Guardians’ second-best hitter. He has a 125 wRC+ against righties, and he excels by putting the ball in play often. He gives himself ample opportunities to get extra-base hits making this a solid bet.

Combined Odds: +1061
