Over 6.5 total runs (-118

We’ve seen the over hit the last two games, and both times by one team

After a better day at the plate on Sunday, including a four-run seventh inning, the Mets’ offense looks good for another productive offensive day.

The Padres will send up Joe Musgrove, and his track record shows he could have a rough outing. He’s been awful at Citi Field and comes in with 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA in two starts.

In terms of the starting pitching matchup, New York looks better with Chris Bassitt, who has a 2.93 ERA at home this season.

The question will be, what happens after for New York? Buck went to the bullpen a lot in these two games, including Edwin Diaz for 1.2 innings last night. They would love to get seven innings out of Bassitt, but who will close the game? With this being an elimination game, it could be all hands on deck with a possible starter coming in.

All these factors and the runs scored in the last two games show this could hit over six and a half.

Francisco Lindor to record 2+ total bases (+135)

Lindor is one of those types of players who, when he gets on a hot streak, gets really hot.

He finished the season strong, batting .294 with five home runs and 21 RBI in his last 26 games, and continued on Saturday, going  2-for-4 with a home run in the 7-3 win.

He’s in line for another outstanding performance on Sunday night as he’s batting .353 with two home runs and two doubles lifetime against Musgrove. New York will need their stars like Lindor to contribute if they want to move.

Chris Bassitt over 4.5 strikeouts (+112)

This seems low for a guy who has put up some good strikeout numbers this season. He’s also had success against the Padres this season with an 11-strikeout performance at Citi Field and has a 35.5% strikeout rate lifetime against that roster. The Padres were one of the better-disciplined teams but struggled towards the end of the season with the seventh-highest strikeout rate (26.5%) since September 25th.
