MLB World Series Game 3 Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (Phillies/Astros)

Game 3 of the World Series was postponed yesterday and will now be played tonight.

The World Series schedule will change by a day, leaving the next three games in Philadelphia for tonight, tomorrow, and Thursday.

Games 6 and 7 would be on Saturday and Sunday nights if necessary. Because of the postponement, the Phillies elected to shuffle up their rotation. Will this postponement on Monday help the Phillies more?

Here are a couple of same-game parlays to consider for Game 3 of the MLB World Series.

MLB World Series Game 3 Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions

Houston Astros vs. Philadelphia Phillies (Phillies Angle)

  • Leg 1: Bryce Harper 2+ Total Bases (+145)
  • Leg 2: Kyle Schwarber 2+ Total Bases (+155)
  • Leg 3: Bryson Stott 1+ Hit (-135)

I’ve got two different same-game parlays for tonight’s Game 3 of the World Series. I genuinely like the over in tonight’s matchup. Therefore, I’m putting together multiple parlays that reflect a high-scoring game from both teams.

Lance McCullers has been holding a 2.45 xFIP over the last 30 days. He’s struck out 26.1% of batters and has kept walks allowed to 5.8% up batters faced.

On top of that, McCullers has earned over 62% of ground balls and has kept line drives down to 12.5% over the same month.

However, his last 27 lefties have hit a .400 wOBA and ISO of .208. McCullers will face some of the best lefties in baseball, including Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber.

Schwarber is hitting a .622 ISO with a wOBA of .557 against his last 51 righties. Meanwhile, Harper has a .308 ISO and wOBA of .388 against his last 57 righties.

Meanwhile, Bryson Stott is another lefty who has crushed righties, hitting a .220 ISO with a wOBA of .340. He’s limited strikeouts to under 20% and has hit 36.4% of line drives against righties. One line drive base hit would help seal the deal.

Consider this parlay if you like the Phillies for tonight’s Game 3.

Houston Astros vs. Philadelphia Phillies (Astros Angle)

  • Leg 1: Jose Altuve 2+ Total Bases (-105)
  • Leg 2: Jeremy Pena 2+ Total Bases (+100)
  • Leg 3: Yordan Alvarez 2+ Total Bases (+120)

On the other hand, the Astros match up very well against Ranger Suarez tonight. Suarez has had a 4.28 xFIP over the last 30 days. He’s also struck out just 18.3% while allowing 11.7% of walks.

Suarez isn’t going to earn a high amount of grounders, and while he’s limited line drives, he’s still allowed over 57% of hard contact over the last 30 days.

Suarez’s last 18 lefties have hit a wOBA of .465 with an ISO of .313. His last 42 righties have smacked a .336 wOBA with an ISO of .306.

Suarez has stayed out of trouble in the postseason so far. But he’s taking on an Astros lineup that has a .201 ISO and wOBA of .369 as a projected lineup.

The top three bats in the Houston order have smacked lefties around lately. Jose Altuve is hitting a .333 ISO and wOBA of .585 against his last eight plate appearances against lefties.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Pena has faced nine lefties over the last month and has hit a .667 ISO and wOBA of .623. Lastly, despite being a lefty, Yordan Alvarez has hit a .438 ISO and wOBA of .594 against his last 17 lefties.

Suarez won’t have it easy against these top three hitters in the Houston lineup.
