MLB World Series Home Run Prop Bets: Dodgers vs. Yankees (Tuesday)

There's a chance the MLB crowns a champion tonight, as the Dodgers (3-0) look to break out the brooms and sweep the Yankees (0-3) in the World Series. I'm heading to the prop sheet for tonight's game, where I've narrowed in on two players to hit home runs. Here are my top two home run prop bets in Game 4 of the World Series.

First pitch is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. ET from Yankee Stadium in Bronx, NY.

Mookie Betts (+500) & Teoscar Hernandez (+550)

Well, as of this writing (Tuesday morning), we do not have a starting pitcher listed for the Dodgers. This is classic Dave Roberts, playing his cards close to the vest. So, from a betting perspective, we have to focus on Yankees starting pitcher Luis Gil.

Gil has been far from lights out recently. In his last three starts, the right-hander owns a 7.20 ERA over 15.0 innings. His HR/9 rate over the three-start sample size is 2.40, which is extremely high for those unfamiliar. As for the season as a whole, Gil logged a HR/9 rate of 1.07, which is fine, but not overpowering.

The New York hurler has faced the Dodgers before. Their current roster is slashing .240/.269/.480 against him over 25 at-bats. Specifically, Teoscar Hernandez is 2-for-5 (.400) against him with a home run and a double. Mookie Betts is 1-for-3 (.333) with a double. I'll back both of these top-of-the-lineup sluggers to touch’em all tonight at the hitter-friendly Yankee Stadium.

Hernandez mashed 33 bombs during the regular season and he's added three more in the postseason. As for Betts, he's launched four dingers during this World Series run, while slashing .976 over 55 at-bats. Both of these guys are in a grove right now. I think they'll pounce on the floundering Yankees. Give me Hernandez and Betts to go yard tonight.
