MLB World Series Same Game Parlay: Dodgers vs. Yankees (Tuesday)

Tonight could be the night that the Dodgers win the 2024 World Series. They’re already up 3-0 in the series and need one of the next four to hoist the World Series trophy in the air.

That said, the Dodgers are working with a bullpen game tonight. This is probably New York’s best chance of winning a World Series game. But it doesn’t mean they will. Let’s make a same-game parlay for Game 4 below.

Los Angeles Dodgers @ New York Yankees

The Dodgers are headed toward a bullpen game tonight. In the first bullpen game of the NLCS, Ryan Braiser began the game, and then Landon Knack had an inning, among many other relievers. In the second bullpen game of the NLCS, the Dodgers went with Michael Kopech to start the game.

However, Kopech closed last night’s game and allowed the only two runs to the Yankees. It’s likely he won’t start. So it’s more promising we’ll get Brasier to begin Game 4.

Braiser has allowed a .667 ISO and wOBA of .578 to his last ten lefties. On the other hand, Juan Soto has hit a .519 ISO and wOBA of .595 against his last 32 righties. Soto barely strikes out against righties, either. Look for Soto to begin the game with an extra-base hit immediately.

On the other hand, the Yankees will send out Luis Gil. Gil is a righty who has allowed a .351 ISO and a .381 wOBA to his last 42 batters. He’s allowed 50% of fly balls and rarely gets grounders.

Mookie Betts has hit a .429 ISO and wOBA of .441 against his last 40 righties. In addition, Max Muncy has smacked a .241 ISO and wOBA of .424. These are the two most consistent hitters in the previous 30 days against righties. We’ll roll with them to get at least two total bases each for the Dodgers tonight.
