MLB Best Bets

Cleveland Guardians (+116vs. New York Yankees (-134) | O/U 8.5 (-108/-112)

Yankees righty Domingo German has allowed ten earned runs in his previous 12 innings. However, he has been undone by five home runs in that span, which should not be an issue against a Guardians lineup that ranks 29th with 17 home runs and 27th in ISO. German is on pace for a career-high strikeout rate (30.8%) and has a whiff percentage of 30.6% or higher on three of his four primary pitches. Conversely, Guardians righty Cal Quantrill has a career .480 winning percentage in 54 road appearances (32 starts) and has a 1.342 WHIP away from home. That should help jumpstart a Yankees offense that has scored four runs over the previous three games, as slugger Aaron Judge has missed all three.

New York is 9-0 in its last nine home games against AL Central opponents following a road loss. In addition, the Yankees have won 51 of their previous 75 home meetings against Cleveland, and we expect German to overcome the offense's shortcomings and lead the team to another victory.

Pick: Yankees ML (-134)

NBA Playoffs Best Bets

Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers

This series is among the most exciting ones we have seen in the playoffs. Boston and Philadelphia have legitimate chances to win the NBA championship this year. That means whoever wins this series could win the Eastern Conference. The matchup between these two teams has plenty of betting value if you know where to look.

One play that I love in this matchup is the total points over. Tonight it is 213.5 points. These teams average 217.25 combined points when playing each other and split 2-2 on scoring over 213.5 during the regular season. There is plenty of scoring talent on both of these teams. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, James Hardin, and Tyrese Maxey. All of these players can score points. That gives going over the total points betting value.

Bet: Total Points Over 213.5 (-110 DraftKings)

NHL Playoffs Best Bets

New York Rangers (-104) at New Jersey Devils (-113) | O/U 5.5 (+108/-122)

After suffering a three-game losing streak during the series, the Rangers came through at The Garden to force a Game 7.

In those three games, their offense was non-existent, scoring just two goals while scoring ten in the first two games. Some of their prominent players that had been struggling during the losing streak came through in Game 6 - Chris Kreider broke his two-game goalless streak, Adam Fox had two assists, and Mika Zibanejad had a goal and an assist.

These guys need to carry over their performances into tonight if they want any chance to win.

As the Rangers' stars faded in the middle of the series, the Devils shined. Jack Hughes and Erik Haula have three goals, and Nico Hischier has an assist in four straight. The offense was still able to create opportunities in Game 6, but Igor Shesterkin came through by saving 34-of-36 shots.

The most important question is, who will be in the crease for New Jersey? Vitek Vanecek struggled in the first two games, so they went with Akira Schmid, who thrived in Games 3-5 before being shelved at the end of Game 6.

This matchup has many different factors, and it can go either way.  We saw two Game 7s go down to the wire yesterday, and we should expect the same thing tonight.

Pick: Under 5.5 Goals (-122)
