NFL Best Bets

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers

The Buccaneers are sitting at 8-8 on the season. However, a win against the Panthers in Week 18 would put them into the playoffs as the NFC South Champions.

Tampa Bay struggled with the Saints in Week 17. The pressure got to them, and the run game lacked. But towards the end of the game, Baker Mayfield hit some bombs down the field and got the Buccaneers back in the game for the time being. He almost made the game a one-possession game, except Chris Godwin was out of bounds before he caught the two-point conversion to make it an eight-point game.

Either way, I was impressed with the fight out of the Buccaneers towards the end of the game. I think they’ll add that momentum against a two-win Carolina squad.

The Panthers fell to C.J. Beathard and the Jaguars, 26-0. The season is ultimately over for the Panthers, who won’t even get their No. 1 pick after wasting it in a trade for Bryce Young last year.

Let’s take the Buccaneers in a blowout.

Bet: Buccaneers -5.5 (-110)

NBA Best Bets

(Odds courtesy of BetMGM)

Indiana Pacers @ Milwaukee Bucks

The Pacers and Bucks are turning into a rivalry. The Pacers earned wins in the first two games against the Bucks, including the NBA In-Season Tournament Semifinal game. However, in the third meeting, the Bucks added a 140-126 win after Giannis Antetokounmpo added 64 points. But he doesn’t think he ever got the actual game ball. Things could get chippy in this one. But one thing’s for sure. Giannis will be locked in.

Meanwhile, Malik Beasley has added 4.3 rebounds per game this season. He’s hit at least four rebounds in 60% of games and has earned four rebounds in most previous games against the Pacers. He’s also hit this line in 65% of his last 20 games, showing off his consistency on the glass.

There’s also value in Brook Lopez with his rebound prop. He’s grabbed 5.1 rebounds per game this season. However, he’s coming off a 10-rebound performance against the Cavaliers and has added at least six rebounds in four of his last five games. Take his Over. There will be a lot of shots from both ends of the court tonight.

Parlay Odds: +534

College Football Best Bets

#1 Michigan vs. #4 Alabama (The Rose Bowl Game)

Roman Wilson is the top receiving threat for J.J. McCarthy and this Wolverines offense. I think they need him to have a big day to advance to the championship game, as I don’t envision them having much success running the football against Alabama’s defense.

Wilson caught 41 balls this year at a team-best 16.1 YPC for a team-leading 11 TDs. This will be the third-straight CFP appearance for Harbaugh and the Wolverines. They should realize that they need to open up the offense and let McCarthy throw the ball around to give themselves a shot. They fared much better with that approach last year against TCU than with the ground-and-pound gameplan against Georgia the prior year.

At nearly 2/1 odds to score as Michigan’s top target, this is my favorite anytime TD scorer in this semifinal matchup. Look for Wilson to get in the endzone on a slant route when Michigan gets inside the 20.

Bet: Roman Wilson Anytime TD Scorer (+194)
