Dallas Stars @ Boston Bruins

The Stars continue proving why they are one of the more talented teams as the season rolls. The offense is phenomenal, as they lead the league in scoring and are sixth in expected goals in all situations. The defense had missteps, but they've bounced back, especially Jake Oettinger. He's coming in 10-1-1 in his last 12 games and has allowed two or fewer goals in six of his last seven.

The Bruins will have Linus Ullmark between the pipes. The reigning Vezina Trophy winner has not had lights-out numbers like last year, but you can't be mad at a 16-6-4 record, 2.72 GAA and a .914 save percentage. He is coming off a terrible start when he lost to the Kings in overtime, allowing five goals.

The Bruins are favored because they're at home, but they've lost four straight at TD Garden, and Dallas is 17-6-4 on the road. Currently, the Stars are the better playing team, have a far better offense and will have the better goalie.

Pick: Stars Moneyline (+100)

#21 Virginia @ Virginia Tech

The Cavaliers (20-6) travel to meet the rival Hokies (14-11) on Monday night at Cassell Coliseum, and the game can be viewed on ESPN. Virginia rebounded from a 74-63 loss against Pittsburgh on Feb. 13, posting a 49-47 win over Wake Forest Saturday night. The Hoos haven't covered in the past two, although Virginia is on a 6-3-1 against the spread (ATS) run in their past 10 contests. That 10-game solid run against the number came in a 65-57 win as a five-point favorite in Charlottesville on Jan. 17.

The Hokies have dropped four of the past five outings, while also going just 1-4 ATS in that span. Tech has allowed 74 or fewer points in five straight games, and the Over is 4-0 in the past four if you're looking for Same-Game Parlay possibilities.

We'll back the ranked Cavaliers moneyline on the road at plus-money value.

Bets: Virginia Moneyline (+128)
