Top 3 NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (12/30)
We came back down to earth on Wednesday, getting swept on the day. We narrowly lost each of our three sides. That’s how the cookie crumbles sometimes in this racket. We will look to bounce back on Friday’s slate.
Let’s take a closer look at the three spots I’m on tonight.

Top 3 NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (12/30)
1. Magic +5 (-110) vs. Wizards
The Wizards will look to build on a desperately needed winning streak today, coming into the night having won four of their past five games. The offense has been the key, scoring 113 points or more in their four wins and 125 or more in two of their past three.
For the Magic, a winning streak (8) was recently stopped in its tracks. They lost to the Lakers earlier in the week and to the Pistons two nights ago. In both games, the Magic allowed 121 or more points.
Though the Wizards’ run has been promising, this number is too big despite the suspensions.
2. Bucks -6.5 (-110) vs. Timberwolves
After a strong start to the season, the Timberwolves come into this one on their first real slide in months, having now dropped four straight games. With the slide, the Timberwolves have gone cold from 3PT, as they are now shooting 36.9% from deep.
The Bucks are also sliding, having dropped four straight of their own and going just 1-4 on their recent road trip. They do, however, have plenty to build upon. They rank in the top-six in the league in both offensive and defensive (allowed) FG%.
The Bucks get back on track in this one.
3. Jazz/Kings – Under 241.5 (-110)
We’re dialing in on the highest total on the board for this one, as the Jazz visit the Kings. While both have been putting up numbers, they also have 106 and 107-point performances on offense in their past two games.
The trends are also pointing towards the under, as the Kings are now 4-0 in their past four Friday games and 4-0 to the under after allowing 125 points in their past game. I like another under here as both teams close out 2022.
